  • The only helpful resource on the internet than you so much.

  • It's good, explains clearly and calmly. Only criticism is that it doesn't include nitrification and denitrification in the atmosphere with lightning etc. Still to find a video that does the whole process :/

  • This was a great video! Must have taken forever! Thank you so much for posting this! I am using this on a website I have to make for my biology class. :)

  • One dislike? Way to go...must be the owner of the company who wants to kill the Amazon...(secretly :)

  • What's the blue thing called at 1:00 ?

  • @kaorisha

    Nitrogen

  • this is boring

  • nice.

  • what is this song called??? I want to play it on piano!! :)

  • @llz2112 the first part, mostly violins, is from "Peter And The Wolf", one of my childhood favorites - it was on the A-Side of a vinyl album that had "Tubby The Tuba" and "The Story of Celeste" (a cello) on the B-Side. All three beautiful music and excellent morals stories for children to learn. Several beautiful examples of each right here on youtube :)

  • I teach a 7th grade Science class and they all want to create a stop-motion video like this one. Thanks for the inspiration and motivation builder!

  • @jearystreet

Let me know if I can help. : )

  • What do you mean by "fix" nitrogen into compounds?

    thanks.

  • @bomberfun1

Humans need, but cannot use, nitrogen in its natural, most abundant form - nitrogen gas. However, there are certain bacteria that CAN take nitrogen gas right out of the atmosphere. When these bacteria process nitrogen in this way, through the nitrogen cycle, they fix (change) it into a form that higher organisms such as plants and animals can use, like nitrates, and eventually amino acids. Analogy: a mechanic can fix individual parts of a car so that the car can run like a car.

  • @mdesautels Thank you!! Awesome.

  • FINALLY! I have exams tomorrow and youtube failed to explain to me what seems such a simple process.

  • Very nice! I agree w/ addieira03. I have been searching thru the ones on here for some time now...
