it depends if your playing online or offline, offline it took me about 150 hours to get 41/41 achievements. though i didn't know the crow demons drop souvenir of reprisal so i was only getting 2 per playthrough, requires 10 to get the darkmoon blade miracle & i figured that out on ng+3 : (

@lyles32386 if you beat every boss possible in a playthrough....my first time was 52 hours. Making new characters and knowing the ropes significantly shorter

@Connor00004 its not really story driven as such, but the way i like to play is to imagine death... then waking up in this wierd as hell undead 'plane' that you need to get the hell out of... and is isnt easy... your struggle will be epic.

It's the Alluring Skull and it basically makes enemies go to that location where you throw it.

@robair9911 Kindle allows you to gain 10 Estus Flasks instead of the normal 5 you get from a bonfire besides the location when you first escape the Undead Asylum. But you require 2 Humanity Points. One to reverse-hollow and the second to kindle.

YOU DON'T DO YOUR BACKSTAB WHILE MOVING.

You need to come to a complete stop behind the enemy. If you're moving at all, you'll just do a normal swing.

And kick shielding enemies in the face.

They'll drop their guard and you can open up on them.

Ay fyi, on the critical strike thing... i found tht if ur holding ur shield up it wont work. U hav to hav ur shield down for the cs to work..

lol, don't panic, in a game where death is an absolute certainty, the least you can do is stand and fight to the end, try to get a feel on how to fight an enemy. running away tends to just make matter worse since enemies are relentless on their pursuit

@maelstorm87 btw you can run to a bonefire and touch it to despawn enemies chacing you.

The fat guy is not THAT hard lure him out to the open area wehen the crossbow guy/ 2 shield fighters are dodge his attacks hit him. The guy under the blacksmith is easy lure him to the stairs then hit his leg etc her takes awhile thought so 10 flask could help. dont go into the forest area

The drake sword makes this entire area much easier.

I only find it useful dual handed, but each strike costs 30 of the weapons durability, makes it only good for a few hits thus leaving it useless for expensive repair. Not worth it to me.

what really help me out in this part was getting the drake sword...it really helps and way eaiser to farm for one strike kills the undead. need help just comment me be glad to show you how to get it

So I picked the thief class. I'm doing swimmingly so far. But the copy of the game you are playing is much different from mine. I have no tool tip crap on the ground.. there are no ghosts and blood stains. And I'm not seeing any boss drops. Nothing dropped from the boar when I killed it.. nothing dropped from the taurus boss.. Can you please enlighten me as to why my game isn't dropping items? Did my class choice have anything to do with it?

@TheDeraleak Well you need xbox live to see other people and get there messages. If you have xbox live, then check the options menu, maybe your answer is in there. And these drops are completely random. So you need luck to get most of them.

@godlydoor320 Aww! Thanks. I was playing the entire time and my gamertag wasn't signed in. So now I'm signed in and seeing the messages. I started over entirely as a Sorcerer. I can't believe I didn't choose it the first time.. I have 30 projectile "Spirit Arrows" as magic and they hit normal skeletons and knights for 118 every time I connect without them blocking it. What took me 6 hours to accomplish as a thief only took me an hour as the sorcerer. I recommend it to anyone.

Lol lure the knights out 1 by 1 rushing the chapel is suicide also only hit the mini tower knight 2 to 3 times and you can win with no hp loss
