Most of this show was in fact shot in a TV studio in Melbourne(ATV 0, I think. Later to become CH 10). I think it's a delight! Corny acting, corny plots...just so good. Bit like Prisoner(aka Prisoner Cell Block H)...also shot at ATV 0 studios and outsides.

...and my comment is based on having watched it during its original first run. The people involved in it were reputed to not like being reminded of it. Not bein in Oz at pres Im unable to watch it again. Believe me, Arcades notoriety is well earned.

Had a very small part in an episode that never aired as it was dropped a week after filming.
I used to work on the channel 10 yacht and they had a wild party scene.
Wish I could have seen it.

I'm watching it on WIN at the moment and I must say it's not really as bad as people make it out to be...no worse than your average soap, really.
'Arcade' - now there's a show I'd definitely like to see due to its notoriety...
