1.the first zombie what was created was really slow but took alot of damage

2.the walking zombie was a little bit faster then the slow zombie but wasnt so strong as first 1

3.the running zombie that was really fast but was not so strong as 1 and 2 actully it was somtimes really weak

4.all these zombies has the waekest spot-the head but in movies everybody aimed for the body and thats what i know. if you know more just type a comment :D

i liked how romero accepted that zombies like all fictonal monsters can be changed to fit the purpose of entertainment (he himself was a fan of the vodoo zombie) for example the idea of intelegence in day of the dead and land of the dead. the only change he didnt make was the fast moveing zombie, which in all honesty are freaken zombies (except the 28 days later creatures as they are clearly infected humans "they die easily" )

Just watched this movie for the first time (it's all in one part on youtube) and it was pretty good. Not much character development, but I mean it was the movie that sparked a generation of films, so what can you say? Great 'mogulween morph' Grace!

i read the book and thought the movie was almost the same, yes there was no monster thing at the end but he was asked to set it in a more modern setting and have Afghanistan as the threat of doomsday not Russia

i love Romero's work. most of it anyway. I was a bit disappointed with Land of the Dead and Diary of the Dead. But no one can keep making hits every single time. I mean Romero is famous for cult classics like the Dead Trilogy. It's usually not a good idea to revive something that was already good the way it was. But it is Romero so I respected him trying something new with Diary even if i didnt like it. He took a chance and it did have a message.

Romero over the years has proven to be as overrated as Lucas, but just like Lucas one cannot discount the awesomeness of the original trilogy. 

Those who've passed NoTLD up as an "old movie" should check it out. Really good stuff that stands up despite it's age.

As for Zombieland, the more I see of it the more I feel it's just missing the point. In the end it'll all come down to presentation, which is why I think it'll fail. I hold out hope it may surprise me tho...

There are many types of Zombies. And Romero zombis aren't identified as a virus. Unless you are talking about the remake. What do you prefere the lamer White Zombie concept of voodoo nonsense. Not scary at all. Return the living dead, with a sludge? Radiation? Anceint burial grounds? Hell there are more versions of zombies than you can shake a stick at. A redneck country doctor giving lobotomies and inserting electrical mind control devices into the skulls of his victoms, it's been done!

Right, they weren't really zombies. That's because they were vampires, another form of "living dead" in the novel. But since Hollywood has to have their way, they changed it to "victims of a virus", abandoning the concept of vampires, though keeping the being harmed by the sun aspect.

"The Omega Man" and the Will Smith "I Am Legend" are both supposive adaptations from Matheson's novel, but they barely resembling the actual plot. In the novel, they are vampires. "The Omega Man" and "I Am Legend", they are people infected with a virus. "The Last Man on Earth",  is closer and the earliest adaptation (1964) of the novel, which predates NOTLD by four years. "I Am Omega" is not related to the novel, being a typical B-Grade rip-off film of the recent "adaptation".

oooh not exactly forgetting to put a copywrite on it but copywritting the wrong name... they put the copy write on the original name of the movie which was "night of the flesh eaters" and then when they changed the name they never put the copywrite on the new movie name, giving everyone and their mother fair share to the movie. support romero and everyone else who worked hard on that movie and get the remake of it from 1990 because it was the same people, but this time copywritten!
