Psyche- Opp. of Izaya, pink/white, shy yandere. Used 2B paired w/Delic be4 Tsugaru, but Delic is now a close friend.

Delic- Opp. of Shizuo, pervert/sex freak, masochist, club host/a singer (just like Psyche). Paired w/Hibiya.

Tsugaru- Opp. of Shizuo, laid-back/peaceful, blue kimono w/cigar. Paired w/Psyche.

Hibiya- Opp. of Izaya, sees him better than "peasants". Thinks as king, uses smart words. Yandere. Paired w/Delic.

@haurikahanyuu Well this video was made over a year ago, even before Hibiya was introduced, so I didn't forget them, they just hadn't been created yet. :) Though I'll admit, I have no idea who Sakuraya and Shitzuo are.

-Psychedelic dreams is the first OST on the cover was izaya in pink and he was thus dubbed 'Psyche'

-Shizuo's character song is 'Tsugarukaikyo Fuyugeshiki' and the cover shows shizuo in a kimono and he was then made into 'Tsugaru'

-'Delic' is from the cover of the second OST also called psychedelic dreams but this time has shizuo on the cover so he was made into 'Delic'

-Also izaya's character song features him as a prince (oh the irony~) and that version of him is called 'Hibiya'

Psyche is the opposite of Izaya. He is shy, and sometimes Yandere/Yangire

Tsugaru is peaceful and laid-back

Delic is a playboy and sometimes masochist

Hibiya is usually portrayed as a prude, queenly, tsundere, or even sadist.

There is Tsukishima, who is shy, clumsy, a coward, and gets lost easily

There is Hachimenroppi who hates humans and is a kuudere

There is Shitsuo, who is a butler

There are others for Mikado, Kida, Anri, Shinra, Celty, and 1more4 Izaya, but I can't find their personality.

@gamertv65 you're a bit wrong... Roppi is not a kuudere. Yes he doesn't care about the world, even about himself, but he 's VERY POSSESSIVE towards Tsuki. And the last Izaya is Sakuraya, who is often despicted as a graceful, elegant-the Yamato Nadeshiko version of Izaya.

About the other alternate characters, usually they despicted to have the same personalities... exa Linda Linda is as playful as original Kida and etc. Only Shizaya have different personalities.

@WarriorOfXen Well fans have pretty much made Psyche out to be very cutesey, innocent, shy (maybe?), sensitive, all that.. Delic is supposed to be a badass or something xD some say playboy? Tsugaru is very calm natured, laid back. I'm not sure about Hibiya though~

okay, so where exactly did this psyche delic thing come from? were they created by fans based on the 1st OST? or did the Durarara creators create them as alternate official characters or something? and also, where did tsugaru and hibiya come from? and where did they get their names? does kida or any other characters have alternate charas as well or just shizaya?

@hayakatsu Well I know Tsugaru is from Shizuo's character song "Tsugaru kaikyo" or something, and he wears that kimono Tsugaru does for its cover art. Hibiya is from Izaya's character song as well, hes dressed up like a prince or something. I don't know if any other characters have alts like these two P:

I always thought of them as alter egos. Such as even if Izaya is a maniac sometimes, hes still has the cute pinkness in him (hence Psyche) and Shizuo who despises violence yet creates it dressed in a kimono which is considered to be a relaxed style (hence Tsugaru) That's how I've always though of it as. xD

@BrittleThorn Psyche is an Izaya counterpart. More feminine(?), and more of an uke type. And Delic is an Shizuo counterpart. He's a fail pimp. The pairing for these guys isnt exactly, you know. Liked? It's usually PsychexTsugaru and DelicxHibiya. ^^

Awesome video...although these alter ego people give me a head ahce. For izaya there's Psyche, Roppi, and Hibiya and for Shizuo there's Tsugaru, Tsuki, and Delic. But if you search "psychedelic dreams" on Zerochan there's a lot of great pictures of everyone. Do you have a pixiv account? Over there you can search for サイケデリック and some 5000+ pics will show up xD

as far as i kno tsugaru was from an additional CD that came with one of the DRRR DVDs so the Japanese fandom made him into a character. then the OST CD psychedelic dreams came out, so the made psyche. then they made them a couple. but then delic came(psychedelic dreams 2)so its was obvious that psyche had to go with delic. there was an izaya that came with one of the DRRR CDs but they didnt really pay attention to him......

What i know so far is:

- Psychedelic Dreams is the title of the first OST. (That's why the pink izaya is called 'psyche' and the pink shizuo 'delic')

- "Tsugaru" is Shizuo in the kimono.. and i think he's also on a cover of the OST.. I'm not so sure right now. :/

(well if i understood that right.. and you wanted to know this? XD)
