LonelyPlanet, I have cared for 4 Pekingese. They were all loving & devoted.Two lived 17 & 18 years with me. My 1st,"Parvaneh" suffered a tragic death & that was the catalyst for me to Rescue. It was Pekes that always came into my life, "Shina-Cinnabar" & "Tiko-Kohana".

My current Rescue is an ALBINO Pekingese -"Capi". I have uploads of "Captain al-Pasha Bear"/"Capi" on my Channel. They have given such Joy to me. I loved them all, each unique. - Penny

Yes-we would fit in well living in New York-all three of of my lil' poochies are spoiled crazy-my two lil'est dogs-malshi and shih tzu breed had an extravagant wedding ceremony last september and are awaiting the pitter patter of tiny paws at the end of July!So excited for them both!

It's great to fuss over your pets-mine love all their treats and walks in their dog strollers-dressed to impress!

"pampered" doesn't come to mind when I see some poor dog hoisted into some 'cute' clothes.. I bet they'd rather just be naked rolling around in the garden :p
