I LOVE the squint at 1:07. It's like all the hate she's show towards you in the past 2 games is personified in a cold, robotic expression. Also: am I the only one who noticed the religious references in Portal 2? GLaDOS often thanks God or wonders "What the hell", and Wheatley quotes God. Just an interesting observation.
Did it really bother anyone else that she says, "Oh, thank GOD you're alright." She's GlaDOS, she thinks she's a God right? Machines don't have any idea of recognition of a God figure. I guess it could be Caroline's influence but still... it jarred me.

When GLaDOS deletes Caroline, the lightning goes from a warm hue to a cool one, the panels go down, it gets slightly darker and GLaDOS's voice becomes more monotone. It's cool, terrifying, and makes it feel like how you would actually feel if you were in a scary place like Aperture.
God this game was excellent. Looking her straight in the face like that while she deleted Carolyn and talked about what I'd done to her (seemed more brutal in that context) I was actually really really tense and really really nervous.
I'd recommend doing the campaign first, although it doesn't technically matter which you do first.
Campaign goes through all the gels and other 'new' game-play elements. And also re-introduces you do the portal gun, etc. Whereas in the Co-op, you're straight into the more challenging levels of the game, and using the new game-play elements, without being taught what they do - although fairly self-explanatory. I remember getting cold chills when I first heard Glados delete Caroline. You know it's a well-written villain when it gives you that kind of reaction...
@spagia1 she felt that she was weakened by her she states that caroline gave her a conscience and she was afraid of it so she probably does it so she isn't interrupted in her work or so she can carry on how she is.
I noticed that they completely redesigned Glados. In the first game she was
primarily Grey,was much rounder and bulkier and never actually moved much herself. She just hung there but now she is properly animated and expressive.
Well, the one from the first Portal wasn't completely demolished until the end, and then in Portal 2 she was rebuilt. So, she probably has less bulk to get in her way after rebuilding from the minimal parts she had in Portal 2.
One of the verses about deleting Chell and her feelings for doing so read "[Redacted]" as in rewritten. She does feel bad about it and didn't delete Chell's backups.
Saying that she deleted the portion of her brain (Caroline) could be a coverup because she doesn't want to appear week in front of Chell. That or the main core in her "body" actually did delete it because its logical and autonomous functions outweigh GaloDos's morality.
This ending kinda creeped me out, the way she starts out all friendly and suddenly turns dark again was a perfect tone to end it on. Even when she said just go, I still didn't trust her and I half expected to walk out of the lab in an apocolyptic world.
@Blazenix1 You never know, just because that field is in contact (The one when you exit the shed) may be the only calm place. The rest of the planet is probably over run with plants and wildlife. Maybe everyone else is gone? Sometimes I hope they come out with a Portal 3...
