Excellent work!! Good use of cavalry and infantry combined most focus attention on one or the other. Tbh I prefer the ship-to-ship stuff-done the whole infantry vs infantry etc too many times. Good stuff!

You need steam for some reasons... MP, updates and thats all.. you can still play the game but not Online or get any updates.

My FPS is at like a crawl.. 10-15, with everything on high. I should be able to blow this game away with everything on ultra. Any suggestions? :(

i got this 4670 512mb. it run great. i got everything on high and 2-3 on ultra. I have no problem so far. shadows on high as well etc. no chokes no lag :) and i got a 2.5ghz core duo. i guess with a faster cpu it ll run even better

Empire total war is epic and more challenging then medieval. In medieval you just made a big army and crush anyway on your path while in empire it doesn't mean anything at all anymore because it's much more tactical now. Last time on empire total war i had 7 armys against 20 and i still won!!! Why? Because i had high ground and made my front line as big as possible so i could flank them.

if i was you i wouldve sent my light infantry in and put my batteries near the hill and pick them off while the rest of my army manuevers around. the creek and theirs a hill on the other side that you should take advantage of

There's a way around it, you can decimate the whole american army using your canons while being only in range of 1 of their batteries, barely, and covered by a hill. Minimal losses, huge effectiveness ;)

i think i actually know what hill you are talking about. I happened to put them there just to take out that one battery, but it turned out that i could reach almost all of their cannons.
