ive had one of the old white xbox that i bought when it came out and i've played it 5-6 days a week for about 2-4 hours and it never got red ringed, you idiots get red ringed because you play from 9am to 3am which is more than anything is supposed to be on, leave anything that connect to a power source on for that long everyday and no doubt it will burn out to.

@TH7596 really??because ive been playing my ps3 for almost 25 plus hours a week, while using netflix and leaving it on for extended periods of time with no problem...even when i barely used my 360 that shit got red ringed for no reason..i didnt stand it up, had it in my basement so it wasn't in a warm area...honestly your lucky dude, i have friends who get red ringed and they didnt do anything wrong either...the fail rate on the original 360s was over 40%

@Bullettowns well i don't have the original anymore i got the slim so i gave my white XB to my lil bro and he works the hell out of it and even though its that old it hasn't red ringed

@TH7596 well hes lucky...and believe me, if the xbox is in a good area where its not too warm, the only way to overheat it is too leave it on like all day, even 6 to 8 hours shouldnt be too much for a video game console, but the first 360s always had problems...thats mainly why i hold a grudge against microsoft and love my ps3...cuz ive had it since day one, i abuse that thing lol

Meine Xbox 360 Elite hat heute ihren Geist aufgegeben
Das Case war gemoddet in Schwarz glänzend lackiert und ein neuer XCM Lüfter und CPU Lüfter sollten die Lebensdauer eigentlich erhöhen.
Trotzdem finde ich die XBox 360 vor allem die XBox 360 Slim besser als die Playstation3 auch wenn das online spielen bei Microsoft kostet finde ich, dass das Dashboard besser gelungen ist.
Das Problem mit der Überhitzung des CPU´s sollte bei der neuen Slim behoben sein

i have no clue how people get rrod .. it mmust be a defect cuz i have had my pro for 4 years now.. play it like 6plus hours everyday and still have no rrod.. but jsut recently bought a slim and love it as much.. ps3 sucks

i never had a red ring of death.... in my hole life i had 3 xboxes:
2005: Old Xbox(first gaming console
few years l8r: Wii(why the fuck do i did this..???)
2009: Xbox 360(no red ring of death)
2010: ps3(gave it away after a few months, cuz it SUCKED)
2010: Xbox 360 slim.....
still have the slim.... and damn lucky with it

@MrCookiemafia The PS3 doesn't suck, compared to the Xbox it is a king. The only thing on the down side is that developers for games think it's a hassle to code and work with the PS3, so they make crappy ports that are inferior to the Xbox 360, when the PS3 could be doing so more >.<

@MrCookiemafia thats because you got the 360 later on, i had mine within a few months of release, the red ring got somewhat fixed by 2008 or 2009...and believe me, i went through 3 360s...and if you think the ps3 sucks, you obviously dont like games like god of war 3 and twisted metal...infamous, uncharted, heavenly sword, motorstorm, etc., i still have my 360, it just sits there and collects dust...

Thumbs up if you agree with this Sony and Microsoft need to create a kickass system together with game from playstation and Xbox so i dont have to listen to all this shit back and forth I personally like both systems the same and they need to make one new type of system with 0% failure rate surf the internet play blu-ray and make sure the online is free besides like add-ons if you could do that this controversy would not be going on. See back when the N64 was about to hit the market, Nintendo hired sony to install in the console a disc reading system... But at the end they cancel it... So Sony take the already develop disc system and created his very own console... The PSX...

@joe9295 Lol 360 exclusives are hardly exclusive I can play mass effect 1 and 2 on pc same with halo 1 and 2 same with gears of war except 3 and more. While on wii and ps3 you can only play them on those consoles. The 360 doesn't have any good exclusives and don't say halo bungie is the only company that can release a game 5 TIMES and idiots will pay 60 bucks for it. So 360 isin't that good i own all 3 wii and 360 are at the bottom
