So - shortly after he turned 31, he was recruited to time travel. He went to 1975 first. Let's say he went back to 2001 when he was about 33 years old. That would mean he was born a couple of years ago now (he was presumably a 13 y.o. soldier in the war of 2015 too). Believe that he's a time traveller? Hard to say. Some of the things he's "predicted" has come true or very very similar events has occured. The whole WW3 thing is probably around the corner, and his prediction of Russia Nuking us is a bit scary since Russia has threatened to do so. Has he predicted 9/11? Rumors have said he tried warning the government but was ignored.
The fact that he has called our generation lazy, self centered, and that sort of thing. I believe that. That much is true.

In a desire just to keep order, martial law will have to be instigated because everyone will be tired of all the BS from the oval office in the past decade. Using vaccuum tubes for certain military applications is not unheard of. From what I recall, the Russians put them in their planes because unlike modern circuit boards, they were impervious to EMP (electro-magnetic pulse). It's quite possible that something in a time machine (if real) would require the same redundencies.

When I first heard the Titor story on Art Bell's show, I laughed it off. The one thing that hooked me was the fact about that IBM computer that only a few people in the world knew about. So - shortly after he turned 31, he was recruited to time travel. He went to 1975 first. Let's say he went back to 2001 when he was about 33 years old. That would mean he was born a couple of years ago now (he was presumably a 13 y.o. soldier in the war of 2015 too). So if his name is John Titor, it should be possible to look him up, although he would be a small child now.
