  • The most humble person

  • My first teaching experience was lousy. My second one was great, because I MADE ACCOMODATION!!!!!!!

    1. I NEVER made kids copy long texts from the blackboard.

    2. I would give each kid a chance to come to the blackboard.

    3. I got the Principal to put ping-pong tables and punching bags in the lunchroom.

    4. I taught all my students to play chess.

  • This is beautiful.

  • Fairness is a totally human concept and requires a human to make a choice and another human to make a judgement on that choice. When something is deemed "fair" it simply means that whatever choice was made by one person, the choice has been judged to be within the tolerable limits of emotional response for the person on the receiving end of that choice. It has nothing to do with equitable outcomes either.

  • Fairness is not treating everyone the same but treating people based on their needs. Life is not fair, therefore we should try to treat people based on their needs and abilities. Our health system, our education, our tax system, and our charity should reflect the faculties of fairness. This does not mean everyone gets the same treatment but treated by the needs of those who most need it

  • so true

  • This is still an issue I face every day as an LD student.

  • This is one the best explanations about fairness and the SLD student.

  • Thank you for the uncommon common sense!
