  • is that real score? I have other version. From CD sheet music...

  • Thanks for the query. Only about two thirds of Bach's first movement survives. Therefore, the rest has been reconstructed by various people. The version I used was the Hans Eppstein reconstruction.

  • great performance!

which edition did you play? who's reconstruction is it? it's different from what i have, and i like it a lot!

  • Thanks for your praise. The edition was Henle edited by Hans Eppstein, grouping the four "authentic" flute sonatas. The reconstruction is quite good, although I find his continuo realizations cluttered and overfussy.

  • Had another couple of views - marvellous. Your Bach always was red hot, ever since I heard you play the 2 part invention in G many years ago whilst you were sneakily having lessons with that the talentless broad on Childwall Road: Mrs Patterson. Any more lined up? I suspect you're too busy to email these days? Vladdegs!

  • Wonderfull sonata and performers, thank you forposting it. And post many more, you can do any.

  • Glad you liked it. Hoping to post more from this concert soon including trio sonatas by JS Bach and CPE Bach, plus new performances coming up.

  • Fantastic playing Gra. I only wish I could do more 'serious' videos!!! lol. Is it your h'cord? D.
