Dish network is not very good either is direct tv... they both have some serious tech problems, I have had mediacom for 5 years now and never not once had a problem, they have all the same features as dish and direct and when it rains you will still have tv (satellite i hate it).... but thats jsut me
@codybe2cool mediacom, atleast in my area, is terrible. there is no cable competition and it affects their service drastically. weekly outages, very pricey, etc.

This guy must work for Direct TV. Dishnetwork actually has promotions that doesnt have require contracts, and you can still get free receivers at activation, but Direct TV doesnt have any new customer promotions without a commitment.
