@worgen666 Yes this video is about Laika. But they never put her to sleep, she died a few hours after lift off because of stress. But that's typical for humanity, first send a bunch of innocent animals to their death and then calling the humans we only send when we know it's safe hero's. Hero's wouldn't have let innocent creatures die and would have sacraficed their life for them. Gagarin and Armstrong should have died in the first flights! It was OUR ambition to conquer space to begin with.

What about the other 2 dogs, Belka & Strelka? They are the 1st living creatures who came back to Earth. Laika belongs to the stars now but Belka & Strelka came back & lived 6 years more.
