I so miss it on 2. I used to just sit there with my dad and sister at 6:00 and watch The Simpsons, then followed by Fresh Prince of Bel Air which i never watched much but knew the change well. When i saw the promo years back about it moving to Channel 4 i thought "nooo" and now the ad breaks come on only after abut 6 minutes of watching and god damn Hollyoaks now fills the spot of Bel Air. Though going back to 2 would be bad because the new 2007-present idents just don't fit The Simpsons at all
6:00pm and 7:00pm used to be my favourite time of the day during the day. The simpsons and then The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air or Malcolm in the Middle. Now it's Channel 4 with their advertisements and stupid Hollyoaks after it. Weird how times have changed...

i remember they had it once on a tuesday then a double bill on friday, then they changed it to an episode weekday, then it disapeared for aaggggeess :O then it came bak, wwiiiiith adveeerrtts ¬_¬
The Simpsons on 2 was the best channel it was ever on. No ads and episodes were shown uncut. Also you had the Fresh Prince or Malcom in the Middle to look forward to after it!
@Halfbricktv2 True. Most if all BBC channels haven't got adverts because they are funded by a TV licence. It made sense that the episodes weren't cut but children would still be up at 6pm.
the last Simpsons episode was shown was Behind the Laughter of season 11 in 2004. that it is true that Channel 4 have got the major terrestial rights to the Simpsons nowadays with adverts like Sky1!
