I really hope they release this Sculptor's Cut version of ClayFighter 63 1/3 on the Wii's Virtual Console. If they do, it better be the Sculptor's Cut and not the original. I want to use Lady Liberty.

And I hope they could modify it to include HoboCop, who was planned buy cut because he was deemed offensive.

Ask Interplay. I guess since most fighting games use characters of foreign nationality that happen to fight, Kung Phooey was acceptable, but they can't make fun of people who are poor disadvantageous people struggling to survive on the streets. That's like making a fighting game character that is a rapist or a pedophile: you just don't go there.

I doubt they will add HoboCop, though that would be freaking awesome if they did, and I doubt they will do Sculptor's Cut. The Super Nintendo version of the original ClayFighter was better than the Sega Genesis version, but they released the Sega Genesis version instead.

Still, we can always hope.  This DOES look freaking awesome.

I just hope Interplay release the Full Unsencored version of this game. Because this game was supposed to be in 3DO's M2 console, but after it fails, it was ported to the N64. And since Nintendo has some grotesque "Laws" for his games in that era, the game lacked all the darkness and Gore that it was supposed to have in the M2 (Some dark touches remained, though, and that's one of the great cualities I admired of this game: The dark touches in Kid-like characters)

Pretty impressive. What difficulty are you playing on by the way? I know the original release had Normal and Psycho mode. Is the difficulty selectable in the Sculptor's Cut as well?

It's the same like 63 1/3. yes there is a difficult switch. But I'm playing this on Normal.
