It's not the normal way, the normal way is to have the stylus swing in from the right. Theirs come in from the top, a set up which is better suited to scratching.

Are you drunk? I've been DJing for 11 years, I know what I'm looking at. They have them set up with the pitch control on the right-hand side. Stylus/tonearm IS swinging in from the right. Notice also the position of the extra ortofon...it's on the backside of the turntable, in the spare cartridge holder. These are NOT set up battle-style!

hmm they only had this look for halloween...but it caught on pretty well w/ everyone so they started making the chains those etc in collaboration with that one company. (but then again it was limited edition)

they also had a HUGE jason mask hanging from the ceiling from the show i went to..

so while they're not completely copying by actually wearing the mask...i think they're definitely trying to implement the masks into their image
