@superman1113215 actually the lakers only had 1 title in the aba before the merger to create the nba that we see today. the celtics titles were won after the merger so thats why they are considered nba titles if you were to add the lakers title won before the merging, they too would have 17 titles and tied with the celtics. but no analyst or so called "basketball expert" acknowledges that title won by the lakers for some reason
