  • sand paper.files and sometimes a dremel type grinder. Been doing it since 1978, Wells,Johnston and Borbeck were my teachers, I am a pro player as well .

  • I searched for my sound on so many tenor mouthpieces and finally, with the help of my fav instructor, I ended up with a Berg Larsen 110, 2, M. Having played auto all through high school and then picking up tenor later, it took me a long time to get a sound that wasn't, to my ears, horrible. Any idea what the huge notch does for one's sound? Not that I'm complaining, it is the piece that all of my instructors have suggested I stay with.
