I got a problem, My psp firmware is 5.00m33, And the Snes Emulator works fine, But everytime i wanna exit it and get to my Psp menu, It stays at the "Please Wait" Logo and so i gotta exit it by either taking the battery out or holding the power button for 20 seconds, HELP???

Haha... you don't. You can get a pandora's battery, reset your psp, and re-upgrade using the M33 updates, but other than that there's no way to get an emulator working on an actual sony update.

I need some help yo.

Ok,so i downloaded the emulator and i put in in PSP/GAME/ folder. I go to my psp and go to memory stick under game, the emulator is there, i press on it and is showed the psp logo for about 5 seconds and then a message appeared that said "the game could not be started. (8002014C)". Now i put my psp in usb mode the changed the GAME folder to GAME150. and when i checked to see if it worked, it wasn't even there.

i don't know what firmware your on but if you havn't already heard, it should be custom. seccond, you need to add the 1.50 kernal add-on. If it still doesn't work, try changing the driver (which i think only can be done on 3.71m33+)

OK i am running the same version of firmware 3.40 oe-a and have followed EVERY instruction on this thread, but whatever i do i still can't load the snes9x emulator. Every time i load it the screen blacks out and then the PSP turns itself off. I have tried 3 different versions of snes9x & also used Appmann to make sure the % folder displays properly but still NOTHING!! if ANYONE has had this very same problem and managed to get it working PLEASE let me no! you have to get 1.5 kernnel addon. from psp-hacks dot com. then you can get whatever homebrew you want the way you can do it on a regular 1.5 psp.

yeah, the emulator was running, it was the reading the roms part that wasnt working. but i figured it out, my computer (hacked OS, XP 911 4 life) was reading the roms as just files not .smc, so thats why the PSP didnt read them when it was transferred. thanks for the help though :-)

You have to have version 1.50 to run homebrew but you can still converse v1.50 with other versions to get version 3.xx OE (X being any number)or the never versions of 3.xx M33. This basically allows you to run homebrew from v1.50 but get everything that the never verions have, like all the upgrades you had to download.

yes you can run emulators but thry wont be faster or slower the only thing you can do to make it faster is increase frame rate(witch can caus lag)

i had this same problem but with a little bit of googling you have to add dot smc to the following snes rom in the room folder, when u go to ur psp and run the emu the files u drop in rom folder will now be visible...example. "super mario world.smc" SMC=Super MagiCom...a format use by nintendo.
