  • cops are assholes

  • there is a difference between civil D and riot. Civil D is when you follow the law. If you and your "crowd" is simply sitting in the area with you signs and doing nothing violent, and the police beat you and tear gas you then you are winning. it will make the news and people will aid your cause. the SECOND anyone loots, or becomes violent its a riot and the police can do what they want to keep order.

  • Cops-1 Protesters-0

  • @TheFuturedevildog95

Cops acting like THUGS 1 Peaceful unarmed protesters 0

  • @nugster1 The police officers were doing their job. The students were given fair warning to disperse. They were told they would be met with anti-riot methods.

  • @TheFuturedevildog95

Its not an unlawful assembly, and the us constitution states that. So basically the police are violating peoples rights and are not following the law.

  • Im in this video L.OL

  • I'm for anarchy and all, but I find it funny that these protesters gather, and act all tough, but the second the riot police make a move, they all freak out, run away, and cry like babies.

  • What is the name of this song it's catchy

  • The First time people rioted in the newly formed United States was Shay's Rebellion. George Washington sent Troops to stop them. Kinda goes against what those Tea Partiers think.

  • They talk trash but when the cops run at them or throw gas they run screaming. lol

  • End the US: Open a checking account at Chase.

  • "Who's campus? Our campus!" ....-runs away when police get close-

  • @fear614

The cops are armed, the students are not. Seems like a fair fight to me.... The cops are the real cowards here.

  • @nugster1 The COPS have a job to do. They're "cops" after all. They are told what to do and then they do it, and they do it well. Without them your life would be very different, if you had one at all. Yeah, sometimes they fuck up. But they're humans too. So stop talking shit about a group of people who make a living out of putting up with your own shit.

  • @fear614

Well most of them have to learn to contain their roid rage. Seriously dont just open fire on students walking down the street. Just look at what happened in Toronto. Peaceful human beings were beaten and kettled like savage beats, then taken to a cage for 24 hours. Over 1000 people were arrested, 90% of those were released with no charges. It was the largest arrest in Canadian history, and black eye on the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

  • @nugster1 Most of them? How so? You only see a tiny fraction of police forces in the media, the ones who make a mistake or have temper issues. You rarely see the good ones, who do their job properly. As for riot procedure, it's their job to protect both life and property, including their own. Blame the strong arm tactics on the morons running around in black hoodies and masks. A few bad apples ruin it for the rest.

  • @fear614

Fuck the police is what im trying to say. Ive given you plenty of reasons to show that they arent here to protect us-There are good cops but they are few and far between. Its not their fucking job to beat people and treat them like cattle. Look up Police provacateurs. The "black block anarchists" were undercover cops trying to incite violence. Why they would do this you ask? so they can get a photo op for the media to paint the protesters in a bad light. Fuck off cop lover.

  • @nugster1 I legit thought you had a half a clue for a second but I guess I was wrong. Yep, ALL cops are bad. Every last one! Even though the media only shows the bad ones, forget the other 1 million who never get mentioned. It's called media bias and you fell for it. As for the provacateurs, riot squads DO have undercover rioters, not to provoke but for their own reasons. You apparently believe that every single hoodlum rioter is a cop...I'm talking to a doorknob.

  • @fear614

Watch Into the Fire. Educate yourself. Its quite the opposite the media portrays cops as heroes.

  • @nugster1 The best education is life experience, not a shitty biased documentary. Listen, if anything the police should be more aggressive during riot situations. Anyone stupid enough to conform to a mob mentality resulting in looting and mass acts of violence/vandalism deserves everything that the police have coming for them and more.

  • What suddenly happened at 6:09? It appeared something was being thrown at them, but it didn't look like it was from the police. Would someone please explain?

  • Hahahahaha you guys suck.... Americans suck at rioting.

  • unlawful assembly?

    thats unconstitutional

  • @batmanactionhero

    Exactly.

  • If you do not realize this is better organized than nazi germany you are fucking ignorant.

  • get gased motherfucking hipsters

  • @YaDigggg42 get cancer motherfucking sleeper :)

  • @YaDigggg42

You must be brainwashed, my guess is you watch tv 20 hours a day.

  • What's funny is there isn't one single reasonable adult among any of them. They're all punk kids.

  • Video is pretty cool actually....it actually has a sci-fi feel to it with the way the announcer sounds...combined with the fact that police in Riot Gear look like heavily armored super soldiers....perhaps not these ones...but others do.

  • Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances

  • @Garabaldi323 Unfortunately...most city's have some rules regarding the right to assemble. Usually for small gatherings simply notifying the police is required. For larger gathering a "parade permit" is required. The reason behind this is that the police need to be aware in case something DOES happen...and for larger gatherings extra police might be needed to block off streets/divert traffic...which is where the fee goes to...supposedly.

  • fuck the law..they werent breaking a law to begin with so it shoulda never happend..idiot. Fuck cops If i were there I woulda started a fucking riot for sure.

  • @iHackCE haha sure you would internet tough guy

  • @iHackCE lol, cops don't just attack, they draw a line and if you cross that line, you are breaking the law and are basically fair game, you see that line of cops coming at you its your own damn fault if you try something stupid, these people are have already set off the cops, if they had simply gone home none of this would have happened, these are a bunch of kids who think they are always correct they are not, and I doubt you'd start a riot, going up against those cops is just a dumb idea

  • club to death

  • song ma fuks?

  • Don't you just love to see people's rights getting violated! I could understand if the protest turned violent and the police came in to quell to violent crowd; but from what I understand, this was nothing more the a peaceful sit-down demonstration and the higher-powers decided not to let the people express their opinions and shut down the protest for no reason.

  • whats this song called

  • Civil disobedience is still disobedience. Can't really complain if you get your ass beat.

  • @KlaykidReal they complain cause they got beat for doing nothing wrong, cept right at the beginning, "this is a unlawful demonstration" doesnt matter at that point your breaking the law

  • @KlaykidReal If the government wanted to stick a dildo up your ass wouldn't you tend to disobey?

  • @KlaykidReal Sieg heil.

  • @thefloris007 Yes yes, hail victory hail victory.

  • police opression is the biggest bitch ever

  • i wish somone would throw the tear gas back at the cops!!!

  • a bunch of stupid little kids looking for attention

  • Sorry but in the UK or US you can't shout police brutallity you know the deal, If a crowd of more than 15 people is acting in a manor that is violent or could be a risk to public property or welfare then the police hold the right to use less than lethal force to disperse said crowd, in every riot you always say police are in the wrong but your own videos disprove you because you hurl abuse and a call to arms against them, they supposed to sit there while you say they should die?

  • FUCK YOU students suck

  • a weapon cant be used when the hand that grips it is restrained.

  • "Whos camous, our campus" No. It's the schools campus, they are just allowing you to be there.

  • Argue all you want. When the riot police show, you lose. The end.

  • there shooting tear gas on the campus? wtf???

  • You'd be hard pressed to show a more non threatening and peaceful group of kids, based on what you see in this video. I'm just glad no one was hurt. However, this is pretty profound. "Risk of Injury," "unlawful assembly," by stating it, they legitimize their intent to use force. A lot of people may see this and mock these students, or have sympathy for the police, and the police themselves shouldn't be blamed, but this just shows, IF WE ASSEMBLE< THEY WILL USE FORCE.

  • dumb hippies! if this shit happened in montana we'd actually have guns to get somewhere not city camping yelling and running away

  • Kids making trouble, people protesting like it actually makes a difference...Neither they nor the government they annoy deserve good things. Nobody even knows what they're assembling for. It's embarrassing.

  • It limited. Same as freedom of speech. Your saying its ok to walk in a restaurant and yell out anything you want, like bitch, cunt and other immature words. If you say thats wrong or not my right. Then you are being a hypocritical person. To many dumbasses dont know how to think ethically when understanding the law

  • lol they all ran like little scared kittens.

  • 9/11 inside job

  • how is this different from Russia???

  • Never where shorts when rubber bullets are flying at you

  • @liberty211662 Right, jeans are gonna stop them so much better.

  • This is a fail riot... I have seen better riots at soccer games!

  • I was there. Pittsburgh was actually very fairly quiet during the G20. These kids were looking for trouble and did not know what they were protesting for or against. The whole thing was ridiculous.

  • 1st Amendment!

  • aka we're going to beat you down and arrest you. Don't be so naive people. We have rights but people suppress them and you can't do anything about. Even if it is peaceful they're still going to make it violent. What they do to activists is wrong and there is no way to justify that. Sure there is people who damage public property, but they're not all doing that so don't attack the whole gathering just because some people are being criminal. Nothing is pretty about ignorance.

  • I like the music used with this video. Isn't it the Chronos Quartet? Anyway, it sounds similar to their music from the soundtrack of Requiem for a Dream.

  • real simple guys....if the dudes with the guns say its time to go, its time to go...what the hell are you still doing there after they made that annoucement? waiting to get your ass kicked huh...look, if you got a problem with the goverment etc. pick your battles and fight with your mind and pen...dont stand around like a bunch of morons waiting to get your ass kicked by a thousand cops who can kick your ass legally if you dont dispers when they tell you...lol..common sense people.

  • these ppl dnt have common sense man they have book smarts but thats about it and thats wats wrong with em

  • freedom of assembly is a thing of the past now

  • All this happened on my b-day?

  • Down with the Legal Authority!

  • my uncle was one of the officers here

  • many Law enforcement officers ( From Philadelphia 4th District ) as oathkeepers as myself would love to pay a visit to your city and beat the shit out of your dumb fucking police force. you've just violently wreathe the definition of real police into an unimaginable and twisted altitude.

  • first off its peices of shit like you who destroy the world you want to blame the police for every little thing well got news for you IF YOU ACT A LITTLE Civilized the police officers would not have to use agressive force so blame yourself for what happens not the the law enforcement their just doing their job and FYI im not a police officer not until i pass my test which will be in 4 weeks thank you very much

  • and btw im not from Philadelphia my uncle is im from Louisiana so maybe if you wasnt so ignorant you could have gotten the facts before you opened you mouth

  • University students are always acting like they own the world, when the fact is that most things in the world are way beyond their control.

Cracks me up when they refuse to leave, and then complain that the police are beating them / tear gassing them / and shooting them with rubber bullets.

  • at the end there it looked like the students were doing less protesting and more having fun and screwing around. just sayin

  • As is their right, especially on THEIR OWN CAMPUS.

  • the thing is the university, president, dean have a say to call the police and break up the protest.

  • Seriously wtf? stand your ground stop running.

  • so much for freedom of assembly...

  • @eaj692 yeah haha

  • Those photographers are awesome! I'd be doing the same thing

  • what is the remix song?

  • Cops should NOT be using Rubber bullets against students. They should be pumping off few lead rounds see how long these whiny students stick around who cant apperciate how great of country they live in. Heres Idea since you HATE capitalism soooo much. Go look at a protest in communist country like China. Tell me how that goes for them.

  • beny I don't think these "whiny students" would be protesting if they didn't love their country. We have the right to protest peacefully and it is not being respected and that is very disturbing. If you don't stand up for your rights you will lose them and before you know it we will be no different than China or North Korea. It's time to wake up because this is what is going on. You can keep denying it and it will be your fault when it happens.

  • You just contradicted yourself. Not everyone wants to live in a police state you fascist fuck.

  • Capitalism owns

    flow of money ownssss

  • hahaha yep instead of rubber bullets theyd have to put up with steel clad tanks :D

  • You jagoff I was down there and the majority of us WERN'T THERE TO PROTEST. LIKE OTHER PEOPLE WE WERE CAUGHT BETWEEN THE PROTESTERS AND COPS AND WERE DOWN THERE TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON. ALSO, THE COPS TRAPPED US IN A COURTYARD. So go ahead and blindly to our supposed truthful leaders

  • You are truly ignorant. Two wrongs don't make a right. People should have the right to dissent, to disagree, to voice that opinion and to assemble with those who agree. I'm not 100% sure, but i think its called, The Constitution? Apparently disagreeing is now a reason to be shot at and physically removed from public property that is paid for by those whiny students' taxes.

  • Like it or not, there's no such thing as unregulated freedom of assembly. If you're too stupid to understand the warnings the police gave you, don't cry "constitution" when you're being hit with rubber bullets.

  • I agree that citizens who are acting unlawfully should obey police since they are there to enforce laws. Unfortunately, the police are used to dismantle activism if its promoting social justice.

So..what you are saying is that we as citizens have the right to sit down and shut up? That we no longer have the right to assemble and dissent? When did the USA turn into a police state?

I guess it would a bit of a contradiction if they are only internationally fascist and not locally as well.

  • Residents of this section of Pittsburgh, the Oakland neighborhood, were under a police state for the summit.

  • Also review - Hague v. CIO, 307 U.S. 496 (1939), for instance, refers to the right to assemble for the "communication of views on national questions" and for "disseminating information."

And regarding the "Freedom of association" you can review NAACP v. Alabama, 357 U.S. 449 (1958) AND Boy Scouts of America v. Dale, 530 U.S. 640 (2000) These court cases outline you have the right to assemble where you like, and with whom you like. Even if its in public with people promoting equality.

  • Yes, let's review Hauge v. CIO:

"The privilege of a citizen of the United States to use the streets and parks for communication of views on national questions may be regulated in the interest of all[...]but it must not, in the guise of regulation, be abridged or denied. "

The court ruled that 'freedom of assembly can't be denied under law', not that 'no assembly is unlawful'.

  • So you are saying that there cannot be a law that prohibts free assembly. But that in practice free assembly can be denied at any time? So your message has to be approved? Isn't that like saying you have the right of free speech, but don't criticize the government or we'll take you away. How do you think the USA obtained its sovereignty, without assembling and without criticizing the british? These kids want representation of their views by their gov't, isn't that also why the colonies united?

  • Technically, yes, the government can regulate assembly in the interest of the people... history shows us that a vast minority of violent people in a large scale peaceful protest can incite a major riot. The government doesn't only allow certain types of assembly, I mean there were tons of legal anti war protests in the previous years. And the difference is that these kids already have representation. I know what you mean, obviously, but you can't really compare it to the colonies.

  • To be honest, i think it can be compared to the colonies in the sense the the people who are against the G20 know a few things about power and control. ie Who controls the money. IDK about the states, but Canada had to give up its right to print its own currency and thus does not control the money supply. The g20 in some cases subjugates representation, b/c when that representation leaves the local level, it usually stops representing. ie Canadian $. Our viewpoints aren't too different.

  • whats with the gay ass music, u cant hear anuthing else

    G20 THIS !!!! (Pittsburgh)

    --

  • 6:08 - Haaahaha priceless

  • I have an idea. How about we in the south secede from the union, and uphold our liberties while the rest of america ends up in martial law. We can then claim rights to the oil in the gulf coast and be rich like saudi arabia. Seriously, we could claim the oil off the gulf coast as our property and sell it to the union.

  • Texas would be its own country and declare the oil theirs.

  • @michaelencarnacion yea b/c that will work

  • @michaelencarnacion .... you must be real stupid if you think you will get rick off of oil alone.

  • @mycivicsi07 Why not? I'm pretty sure thats how Dubai and Saudi Arabia got rich.......

  • @michaelencarnacion True man. I think we'd be so much better off if we had won the civil war, and became an independent nation. The state of this country today is so fucking shitty man, plus southerners have to contend with stupid stereotypes from other parts of the country, even after all the contributions we've lent in foreign wars and to the economy over the years. This country is worth shit today and is going down soon, the gov. and the people are to blame. We have to go down with the ship.

  • practice.

    rehearsal for real times ahead.

Countdown to martial law has begun

  • Anyone know the name of the song in this vid?

  • Yes it's Deedle deedle (pause) Deedle deedle (pause) Deedle deedle deedle deedle deedle deeee-dle.

  • Lux Aeterna by Clint Mansell. It's from the movie Requiem for a Dream. This sounds like some kind of drum-track remix, though.

  • THe immediate vicinity happened to be all of oakland? wtf

  • The Constitution guarantess the right to peacable assemble, so how does these jackboot officers decalring it an "Unlawful assembly' supercede the American Constitution!?

  • The Constitution? Hmmm...sounds vaguely familiar....

  • lol lot of buthurt fags in here

  • What bullshit! You gutless students running away like some weakling lemmings. Those fat, doughnut-munching pigs are scared shitless because you outnumber them. Learn to stand together and stand up for your rights as human beings or else you'll get all the shit you deserve.

Fuck asking for names, mob the pigs and rescue your own.

  • They didn't tell you to leave or you'd be subject to this kind of treatment, next time they tell you to leave why don't you obey the law instead of risking injury. They can't tell the difference between rioters and onlookers, your all the same to them. And if you weren't rioting why did you start chanting slogans that just makes you look like rioters. They do have a responsiblity to protect the worlds leaders also.

  • why is this video G20 "riots" I dont see any riots here

  • makes me wanna join the police hopefully next year ill be beating you fags.

  • your a fucking joke shut ur mouth

  • go ahean worship ur false government who only strips u of ur rights and commits terrorist attacks against the people like 9/11, dont research the facts cause u obviously dont have time or are to scared cuz u think it would ruin ur world, grow a pair mate and do ur research.

  • Use 'You ' not U, You lazy asshole.

  • hahahahah

  • joe montana was a quarterback u crazy asshole!

  • That's better.

  • just let em try and pull that shit here in texas...dont worry, cats out of the bag now...if these cops want to break the law then we'll put them in their place..way more of us...and were not douchepumps like most of these pimple face national guard folks..i was in the army, thank god im out now that i realize what this false governments true motives are...remember the alamo!!

  • CANADA HOSTS G20 IN 2010. COME TO CANADA!!!

IT WILL BE IN HUNTSVILLE ONTARIO CANADA - APROX 3 HOURS FROM TORONTO.

THE G20 WILL RUN FROM JUNE 24-27

FRIEND ME AND I WILL FIND YOU FREE PLACES TO STAY!

NEXT YEAR WE WILL SIT - LIKE A 1960's "SIT-IN"

SING SONGS OF PEACE - LETS SEE HOW THEY HANDLE THAT!!!

  • america is so going down

  • I guess some people don't know the difference between a protest and a riot. If this had happened in LA, the police might have had an actual riot on their hands. Illegal assembly or not, this is an example of police forces bullying a defenseless public.

  • this is so fucked up!

  • harsh tactics? those cops need sensitivity training, I did not hear enough of the "magic word" used. If they would have just asked nicely I'm sure all those nice young people would have gladly gone home for some milk and cookies with wally and the beaver.

  • Change we can believe in??????

  • We need more cop killers out there killing cops

  • Protesters needed more cowbell during their silly display.

  • hipsters need more hipster during their silly hipster comments

  • you know whats fucked up these ppl are not even protesters well some are but no one is protesting at this point my brother was there and said the cops were going in to the surrounding areas and blasting ppl for no reason, ppl that were on there front porches or just happened to be walking some were.

  • you know what..i was out waking somewhere and i got gassed and maced...but its my own dumbass fault for being out during a fucking riot. just like its your brothers dumbass fucking fault for being out during a riot...jackass

  • Just like it's the patriots fault for fighting the British empire - you stupid loyalist. Fuck the G20- all of these kdis that stood up against the cops are heroes.

  • It wasn't riot, you clueless imbecile. It was a peaceful gathering.

  • a peaceful gathering which resulted in vandalized cop cars and buildings. right.

  • the put undercover agents in the crowd to vandalize...this is a fascist country...just try and go protest..see what happens.

  • You sound like an idiot

  • Please, provide a shred of evidence this wasn't generally peaceful. Aside from potential agent provocateurs, there was a window or two broken AFTER the police presence. Not to mention that, as is know by pretty much anyone that's done an ounce of research, most of these people were watching what was going on and were PEACEFUL. Only a real Fascist would justify police violence and the wholesale violation of the rights of hundreds of by-standards because of a few broken windows. Give me a break.

  • Thumbs up.

  • Doesn't matter if it's peacefull or not... If wasn't authorized they will use that as an excuse to stop it. I know it's bullshit and it's unjustifiable but these days you need to go to city hall, pick a date and a place where you want to protest at least a week or two in advance and even then they can decline on the location or date.

It's fucking bullshit but the truth is that the government is scared of protests and they will find any excuse possible to stop them. Even if they're peaceful :-(

  • So shouldn't we be openly defiant then? Aren't we somewhat obligated to confront them? And yes, permits were denied until last minute-- after they were taken to court.

  • It's the law, and the law doesn't always mean justice...

The best thing you can do is to let your votes count. Be politically aware of your decisions and protest when given the opportunity... Petitions, peaceful authorized protests are all good and may work sometimes but the votes hit governments the most..

  • VOTES, ARE YOU KIDDING?

  • 1. find the caps lock, it's not that hard.

    2. Give constructive critique in a non-offensive way.

    So please Num13erz... enlighten me.

  • I'm FREE to write however I feel. CAPS means I'm upset. Shows emotion. Bug off.

  • Spirituality as your hobby? Haha. You really SOUND spiritual.

  • Thanks for ridding the filthy words from this page.

  • np lol

  • THIS IS OUR AMERIKA NOW!

  • They have a constitutional right to assemble. The cops are in violation of the law. THEY should be removed.

  • The permit is called the United States Constitution.

  • hey guys do it on private property, cause the Supreme Court time and again has upheld that the 1st amendment enables government to require a permit when protesting on public property. Via case law the Supreme Court has also upheld that 1st Amendment also states that government decision makers can not impose a permit scheme that makes it impossible for a group to get a permit.

Gotta brush up on the Supreme Court case law ! !

  • I'm sorry?! A PERMIT to assemble? Yeah......RIGHT.

Freedom of Assembly, under the First Amendment. It's known as The Right to Organized Petition. Go look it up and stop sucking the cops dicks...

Sitting on your ass and not doing anything, bashing on people exorcising their Constitutional Right...you sound like a TOOL. Grow some balls and get off your ass. With an attitude like that, you sound like part of the problem, another shithead who supports Establishment.
