    Greeting from Poland

Kyiv!

  • BEAUTIFUL CITY

  • Idiots who dont know about our country shut your f.....mouth and not speak

  • Ooops,,,I am sorry. I meant 1000 AD...not BC. This would be before the Greek philosophers, lol. Anyway, I had great times in Kyiv. I know that Poland and Ukraine are hosting a major football championship. I hope you two get along and have a good time. I wish I could be there but I am poor now since the USA economy has tanked. Hope you solve EU problem with Italy and Spain debt. Don't let Russia take over Ukraine and Baltic States.

  • @HardluckYT I read that there were two brothers who were named kyiv. This was there last name. They discovered Kiev in 1000 BC. Is this not true? I do not know about Polish lineage as you suggest. I have been to Kyiv three times and Yalta once. I stayed on Pushkinskaya Street in Kyiv. I would often go the the club Deja Vu. It was close to the Opera House. I was advised not to go across the Dnipro River because I would get robbed, but I did go and no one bothered me.

  • Pozdrav ot Srbija

  • HA!

  • You should also remember what your grand parents have done to this place and all the world. Ask them if you don't. Name "Hitler" should help them to ring a bell.

  • I like the song. Is there a title for the band and song that is not written in hieroglyphics? Whats is about? Whats Kiev/Ukraine about? Is it fun? Is it overun with tourists? Whats the deal? I was thinking of going there on a whim.

  • @garudadude the song is by ukrainian band - Okean Elzy. it's about hard times in Ukraine and that everything will be alright)

  • I love Kiev, friday i will be there again :-))

    Greeting from Holland

  • how is the name of music????

  • oh looks a cool city. . . .

  • im from the magical city nazareth but i love kiev more than any other city i will visit it

  • Kiev Is rightfully Russian Because Russia built Kiev!

  • @asebrookb there was no such thing as Russia when Kiev was built.

  • @MisaMumintroll

its logical...kiev principat is cosidered the 1st civilization of slavs...kiev as the mother fo all russias

  • @asebrookb

no becouse kiev is first slav city...with the principat of kiev, at 1000- 1100 begins the civilization of slvas with byzanthine influneces...and its logical..becouse slavs were civilized by byzanthine, and bisanzio is more near with kiev

  • @onoreaicesari Kyiv was founded in fifth century)

  • @AnastasijaUA ah i knew u have civilized by byznahtine more more late.....ok dont worry...u know better than me so u are correct! :-) ...one day i like to visit this city...

  • @asebrookb ROFL the UKRAINIANS built Kievan Rus not the opposite, the russians tried to concur it many times. Go learn some history man and not from russian history books.

  • Ukraine is like Katarina in Shevchenko's poem, a beautiful, tragic lady.

  • Dont hate Ukraine, appreciate =)

  • And i'm from POland and i don't like Ukraine. So what?

  • @1000razyja

and im from Ukraine and no one in Europe likes Poland, so what ??

  • @MrYkrainets I dont think everybody hate Poland. Why you think so?

Another upset minded Ukrainian ,Have you ever had any inteligent reflection huh

I planned to go Ukraine this year but people seem to be very hateful

  • @MsLikeaChola not really the people you should worry about... there a dickhead's everywhere, just like there are nice people and kind people everywhere too

  • @MsLikeaChola

actually, we like poles, it just depends on the people you get, just like it does in Poland, i said that just because he said the other thing, but i work with poles and we seem to be cool and respect each others nations and religions

  • @MrYkrainets You are right it depends mostly on people you get , we shouldnt generalise we r all Slavic with similar mentality we should be proud instead of silly arguing and respect our cultures.Have a nice day:)

  • @MsLikeaChola

words of wisdom, we need more peace on earth

  • @MrYkrainets Both Ukraine and Poland are popular and symbols of freedom in Europe. If people say anything else, I think it is because communists and others who wants status quo, use propaganda against them.

  • @1000razyja Poland is a exciting country, i want to go there. I like Ukraine, but not so much Poltava because of 300 year old reason..

  • i am from Bulgaria i love urkraine and ukranian people

  • romanians love ukraine <3

  • Ukraine is sooo beautiful country!!!

    Greetings from your Greek brothers!

  • Good bless form Georgia

  • @LuckyHut0RealEstate

    brothers forever =)

  • Hi guys, for all of you who love Ukraine, go to Facebook Fan-Site "I Love Ukraine";)

  • i juste i love ukraine fuck russian---from france

  • come on guys stop argueing over slavs or others! eastern europe is where slav originated from. more precise from kiev! its a beautiful city! i jewel in the slavic people's crown. so why talk about how russia isnt part of the slavs. it is! the only difference it the line on a map, but people are exactly the same, millions of russians in ukraine and vice versa! why should we quarrel brothers?

  • @iam1and1isme yes Slavs originated in Ukraine and later migrated to other regions including Russia that is why Russian Slavs are not native to Russia - the millions of Russian ethnics living in Ukraine many of which resist assimilating into the Ukrainian culture - this unfortunately is left over from hegemonious Russian/ soviet regimes - the quarrel is for Ukraine's complete freedom and independence from Russia

  • @majorgeeek many ukrainians are living in russia too, the only real difference between the country's are that they are separated by a line on the map, if you check scientifically, gene's from both russians and ukrainians are practually 99% identical, russia was populated by slav's from early times too, novgorod, sepukhov, and other cities in the western and southern parts, i think it's strange to want independance, not because they can't, but because they need each other for trade and neigbors

  • @iam1and1isme wake up Ukraine has independence although Russian geopolitical aim is for complete dominance over that country - Ukraine and Russia are very different in many ways - the genetic argument applies to all Europe in general but there are significant differences between Russians due to the multitude of different natives living in Russia - Russian Slavs are not native to Russia - your comment about Ukraine and Russia need each other for trade as a reason for Russian dominance is stupid

  • @majorgeeek if russia seeks geopolitical aim for "complete dominance" over that country, then why did russia give crimera to ukraine after the collapse of the USSR? it has a mostly russian population. about "domimance" well, the USA has "dominace" over most of the world, due to a huge and powerful economy, i don't understand what your arguement is. it seems quite feeble, you seem to have a dislike to russia and be biased of some sort, "russian dominace is stupid" is your opinion?

  • @iam1and1isme get your facts right - USSR gave Krim back to Ukraine during Krushchev's reign because Moscow's economic policies in Krim were a dismal failure - the argument is simple and obvious even to a blind man - Moscow has over 300 year history of hegemony over Ukraine, repression of Ukrainians and Ukraine culture, language and rights in Ukraine - today Moscow exercises partial dominace throught its agents Yunykovich, members of comm and regional parties in Verhovna Rhada eg BSF lease, etc

  • @iam1and1isme soviet russia handed krim back to Ukraine because the economic policies of the soviet in krim were a dismal failure

  • @iam1and1isme Soviet Russia gave Krim back to Ukraine during Krushchev's reign simply because their economic policies were dismal failure in Krim - reason majority is Russian because the Russians either killed or deported millions of innocent Tartars and Ukrainians from Krim - stop pretending - Russians are trying to dominate which must not be allowed in Ukraine

  • I forget is chernobly in kiev?

  • @FloatMusic NO it is far to the west from KIev.

  • @FloatMusic it is not far, it is 100 kilometres to the north, but the city is not much affected by its phumes.

  • @iam1and1isme Right.

  • Russian Slavs are not native to Russia or Russian Federation

  • @majorgeeek Right, most of Russia is not even Slavs. They have many Tatar, Uygur and Fin nations. Real Slavs came from Ukraine:-)

  • THE SONG IS ABSOLUTELY GREAT!

    Artist and song name please!

The pics are gorgeous as well!

  • @alemanloco1

Okean Elzy - Vse Bude Dobre

  • Kiev.com.ua

  • Beautiful! Greetings from the US

  • I'm from this country

  • Kiev is fantastic city at kind of the easternmost end of Europe!

  • @Hollandia777 Ural is the end of Europe so Kiev is far from the easternmost end of europe 1000 km at least, great city though.

  • @sumadinac92 We speak 'bout REAL border, not theoretical one! Medieval Kiev was a city strongly integrated in Europe with very good contacts with Scandinavia. It stood exactly at the eastern border of Europe that time (river Dnepr), Political and social reforms (brought to Russia by Peter The Great in 18th century) "moved" this border towards East (what u, actually, mentioned) First - up to river Volga, then - up to Ural Mountains.

  • I´m German and I love the Ukraine so much. I was three times there(mostly in Simpferopol/Krim). It was a projekt from our school to help people they survived the holocaust . We traveled from Berlin/Kiev/to Simpferopol by a train in 55 hours. It was so great, but It was very very sad to see how the survivors of the holocaust live there.....(sry for my english)

@Deutschlandalles your´re not a German, you are a fucking bastard! Shame on you. He missed the old time before 1945....Idiot

  • really beatiful city!

  • and when u are thinking at cernobyl...not too far from this...what a difference

  • Is the music Okean Elzy? what is the song?

  • Kiev is the best city in world!!!If you want to see all the places of interest, please have a look on this web site. It will help you to order Kiev city tour glory4travel. com

  • Ukraine=Russland - zero culture

  • @Deutschlandalles You say that Ukraine has no culture. I am glad Germany had culture when it burnt people in the gas chambers or used poisonous gas against soldiers of countries it attacked.

  • Kiev is better then moscow

  • @joseph0086 when you arrive you can buy sim card and load and grab the nearest police number and store it to your phonebook just incase you need help assistance then you can ask for help. Also you can go to the nearest consulate and informed that you arrived, incase you need help you can run to your embassy or consulate and seek for help.

  • @joseph0086 when you're traveling just don't forget to secure your belongings, especially your money, wallet or your valuable materials. And don't let yourself to be scam, when you see a piece of money on the street better ignore it!Some use it as a bait for scam, and of course don't keep your wallet or celphone in your pocket or else you will lost it in the crowd.Don't either try to open your hotel room when someone knocks that you don't expect visitors.

  • Just what I don't like the toilets because to compare our mall in philippines has wider and bigger toilets and we have alot of clean toilets everywhere. And I suggest that they should pay attention to it, because anyone needs comfortable toilet, yeah that's difficult for a traveller, you eat a lot you walk a lot and at the end you'll start to find toilet and you'll find difficulty.Anyway ukraine is improving so hopefully my next visit i won't have trouble with toilet.

  • But of course as a traveler you have to secure your safety always, just be alert and be ready at any time.I love some of their food,SOUP AND SALAD.Most drinking vodka esp.in the village but in the city ppl taking vodka but moderately they know to handle it!Probably because too cold from that they used to take vodka.I love buying shoes, dress, make up and boots, I have addiction with fashion women from ukraine most are pretty and lots of cute guys too.

  • The first time i went to ukraine i was thought people are war freak because the way they talked it was like sounds that they are fighting, i always wondered at the end of talk they laugh so much, then someone translated it that the guys telling jokes. But at first i was thought someone will fight in front of me.It would be good to visit ukraine if you have a good ukrainian friend that would translate for you.

  • joseph0086 ,Hmm.. what makes me keep visiting Ukraine?first of all I found the love of my life in Ukraine, and the place very interesting if you love history then you'll love the place.Lots of beautiful historical buildings, churches and so on, the people seemed nice though, they are hospitable

  • joseph0086 You know I have tried to learn Ukrainian but it's pretty difficult for me, coz as a filipino we have around 170 languages in Philippines and we have different accent, I've used to speak in charismatic accent from that it's not easy for me to sounds like ukrainian, you know how ukrainian accent sounds is... it's like something heavy inside the mouth, that's difficult for me.I can immitate ukrainian but it sounds too soft.

  • i have visited the village in ukraine the place very peaceful, the life in the village it's common like other countries villagers too,Only I noticed most oldies living in the village, just few population but the place is nice and beautiful. You can't say everyone in ukraine are all poor, just like in other countries,if you are in USA,UK,New Zealand or anywhere in the world if your country is rich it doesn't mean all of you are rich!I've visited USA too and I saw some are poor.

  • @MsChristinexxx Im from Ukraine and i live in USA right now and

your right about Ukraine its not poor like some people say we visit and i seen

really nice cars cars that I Dont see in Portland were i live and i really miss Ukraine all the beautiful

places we visited Ukraine 2 years ago and the train was late so we had time to walk around the city at night and it was like Christmas lights every were u look you have to love the city

  • @TheAlexmurnik I disagree with you about Ukraine "is not poor" - Ukraine is lagging behind Europe in nearly every indices related to economy, health, wages and pensions, social systems etc - perhaps the most disappointing aspect about Ukraine is its exceptionally high ranking on the world Transparency Scale shares this position of percieved corruption 120th on the list along with Russia - the rest of ex Warsaw Pact countries have excelled their ranking since their leaving Russia

  • @TheAlexmurnik omg...offcourse in ukreaine are nice cars...because there organized crime are developed.

at the last... wtf is ucraine? a fake theritory ... romanian lands, hungarians lands, poland lands ....

  • @slypersonn3 Some speaking valachian plankton? That's funny, a true speaking romanian urochordata. Hey, gypsy, іs that true that your cloa..cа.. country was named after the roms?

  • @slypersonn3 What a bullshit, it's Malorussian or Uzhnorussian lands and have never been others.

  • RozekKwidzyn I'm not totally agree with u by saying in ukraine the city is not safe,Because anywhere in the world is really not safe unless we don't take good care of ourselves.I'm from Phil and visited Ukraine in and out for 7 yrs,but I haven't meet such danger or bad treatment from anyone.I freely walked at night without any harm.I saw lots of Vietnamese & chinese, Ukrainian pp are nice they are not racist, just they are just busy and loyal to their job that's what i noticed.

  • @MsChristinexxx Hi thanks for your informatin. Can you tell me the reason why you keep visiting Ukraine? Do you speak their language?

  • where can I buy this music?

  • i am live in this city

  • Wow the architectures lookso amazing. I am wondering if there are many Asians there? I am a Chinese. If the local people in Ukraine are not racist, I may like to go and take some great pictures.

  • @joseph0086 There are almost only Ukrainians and Russians. They are not racist but it is not safe city for foregins.

  • Kijów to piękne miasto

  • @majorgeeek Which finno-ugric population?

  • Its may help

    kiev in english . com

  • Shagiyana,

this song Ukrainian band Okean Elzy

    called "everything will be fine"

  • @vague9smile

    thanks a lot.

  • What's the name of this song ?

  • Kiev the capital of Ukraine has history which predates even the smelly Viking invaders - it begins around 400 AD as early Slav settlement with evidence that it had churches before the heathen Vikings and Ruricid Voloymyr who christianed Kyiv in 986

the name Kiev is popular but just one variant name - this is not correct transliteration of Ukrainian language - in fact Kyiv which is the official name is the correct transliteration in English.

  • I was there

  • i love ukraine from japan.

  • always be proud of where your from...even born in US..im Ukranian first...and then american..im sooo proud to be Ukranian...we are so special..and loving ppl..

  • hi..im born in the US..but my nationality is Ukrainian..im more that then american..i love my hertiage..and i speak and read and write...as a american born im still Ukrainian first..and then american..sorry..but i love my heritage...and where my family is from...will fight and keep fighting forever..
