@CBeTHaXKa Because the 'p' doesn't determine the original quality... I mean, if you have an absolutely fantastic clear camera, then you'll shoot a fantasticly clear video. TBH on youtube the only difference I've ever noticed with those 1080p settings is with music, it makes the sound all nice and crisp. I've never seen any difference to the actual video quality. It's not like it gives the video any extra pixels or something xD

Haven't you ever seen those (yeah I'm going to use a porn reference) amateur porn pictures with crazy big resolution and when you zoom in to 100% magnification it's all huge, but it looks like shit? That's quality, or bit rate. So even though the resolution is not really up there, the bit rate of this video is. Not only that, the camera has superb auto focusing capabilities.
