I can't wait for Sonic chronicles 2! The first one has such a great classic atmosphere and a deep plot! It is really a shame unleashed's plod is as stupid as hell.
Actually, Minus the werehog, Sonic World Adventure/Unleashed was awesome. But thats really about it. Its such a horrible shame really. Sega created a super cool mascot and they also single handedly destroyed him... Its heartbreaking really...
@pkstarstorm1up ...and Black Knights, and Sonic 06, and Unleashed Weresonic sections. It seems Sega is finally getting into the swing of things though with games like Sonic Colors and Sonic 4.
No Black Knight is pretty fun, Sonic Unleashed (360) is very fun even as the Werehog, and Sonic 06 is an excellent game! It is the greatest Sonic game since Sonic Adventure!:D
@pkstarstorm1up I hate to burst your bubble, but Sonic 06 is the worst Sonic game ever made, but I do respect your opinion so I won't really go into it. My favorite Sonic though is Sonic 3 and Knuckles though hands down. The best Sonic game ever made and one of the best games period in existance. I agree with Unleashed, but the only fun part of it was the Daytime stages. Oh and I can't believe I forgot to say how bad Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog are. THOSE games are atrocities.
It is not the worst Sonic game ever made. The worst Sonic game ever made is Secret Rings and the American Genesis made Sonic games like Sonic Spinball or Tails Skypatrol. Heroes isn't bad, It's enjoyable, and I can't give an opinion on Shadow since I haven't played it yet. But Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, and Sonic 06 aka Sonic Adventure 3 are the greatest Sonic games that have been made. The Genesis games are fun, but are to simple and don't have epic storylines.
@pkstarstorm1up Sonic also looked weird in the original games. He looks much better tall, long, and with Green eyes. Plus I really like how the newer games have promoted SonAmy!:D

Sonic was born without a story and it was and still is today a truly great game. Never say that any game needs a story. Sonic 4 came after all these years and as a game of the new age, doesn't have a story and is a great game. Megaman came back with Megaman 9 & 10 and is as retro as the NES games and they are just as good as their NES counterparts and they barely have a story.

Nostaligia doesn't make a game better, it just means that you have fond memories playing the older games because you were at a point in your life where everything seemed perfect and fun. Therefore you reject anything new and say it sucks compared to the originals when the originals shouldn't be compared to the newer games at all since they are both great. I don't mind if people like the Genesis games more but I can't stand people saying that Sega can't make good games because they always do!
@pkstarstorm1up Furthermore, I do not reject anything new. I have played most of the 3D Sonic games and have enjoyed myself doing so for some of the games. I enjoyed myself with Unleashed and the DS games and even Heroes and Sonic 06 to an extent.

I sometimes blow money on a game and play it once or twice and discover I really dislike it and will never play it again. As for Sonic TV shows, I have seen a very very very very small amount of the JP Sonic X (like 2 or 3 episodes maybe?) and that old series that used to play on TV a long time ago with Jaleel White as Sonic. They were okay as far as I have seen.
Well the Japanese version of Sonic X is definitly better. It makes Chris Thorndyke alot more likable.

The last decent sonic game was Sonic And The Secret Rings, and that still was'nt that great. There really has'nt been a good Sonic game in a while.
