@CaLgOn444 I'm NOT saying drugs and alcohol are "right" or that people should do drugs or drink, I'm saying that there are two sides to almost every arguement (I emphasize the word ALMOST because I know if I don't, someone will bring up an arguement that involves 2+2=4 or something) When it comes to drugs and alcohol, there are just as many positive effects as negative ones. They need to be handled MODERATELY. Substance ABUSE may be considered wrong, but not necessarily the substance as a whole.

@CaLgOn444 Alcohol can relieve stress, pain, and anxiety (physical, mental, and emotional). It also can be used to fight minor colds, and warms up the body by creating heat. Again, this is drinking in moderation. One doesn't always have to get drunk.
As for drugs, most (like Marijuana) can be used for medicinal purposes, like the treatment of AIDS, cancer, and chronic pain.
Abuse of these drugs can and does lead to harm, but they DO have their up-sides when used in small doses.

@CaLgOn444 I'm NOT saying drugs and alcohol are "right" or that people should do drugs or drink, I'm saying that there are two sides to almost every arguement (I emphasize the word ALMOST because I know if I don't, someone will bring up an arguement that involves 2+2=4 or something) When it comes to drugs and alcohol, there are just as many positive effects as negative ones. They need to be handled MODERATELY. Substance ABUSE may be considered wrong, but not necessarily the substance as a whole.

@CaLgOn444 Alcohol can relieve stress, pain, and anxiety (physical, mental, and emotional). It also can be used to fight minor colds, and warms up the body by creating heat. Again, this is drinking in moderation. One doesn't always have to get drunk.
As for drugs, most (like Marijuana) can be used for medicinal purposes, like the treatment of AIDS, cancer, and chronic pain.
Abuse of these drugs can and does lead to harm, but they DO have their up-sides when used in small doses.

I personally believe that even used as medicine, alcohol is never a good thing, though I do agree on the marijuana aspect. As far as alcohol relieving stress, it does, but only for a short period of time, then it just creates more stress. Again, just my opinion, and I am sorry if I have offended anyone.
