  • who the hell is singing inn the crowd, shutup

  • wtf!can't believe they've already played it in 1993.but still one of my favorite songs

  • @MrRadioheadache This was played in 2008...

  • @SionShel then i check it again and found out it was in 2008,my mistake ,93 Feet East is a bar :)

  • 3:12 what the hell chord is that?

  • wow Ed really fucked up this one

  • @farizzal how do you figure?

  • @xBillyTheKidx no swells in the first verse, not fuzz chords in the second....seems like he just had some gear problems now that i watch it again though

  • @farizzal yeah now that you mention it i heard that difference. it sounded just as amazing though. however, i think that happened when i saw them live doing this in '08 or 09.

  • @xBillyTheKidx well i am comparing it to the basement recording so maybe they changed it

  • @farizzal yeah they did a lot of things differently on the basement recording. i'm guessing they did that because it's a dvd and it's professional and herp derp

  • Radiohead has set the standard that musicians can only dream of reaching. Unfair but I'm grateful to have experienced their music.

  • My face would melt and I'd hump the nearest leg in front of me if I heard this live. I fucking LOVE this goddamn song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • radiohead is all i need

  • Oooh I like the guitars! I wish they would've done that on their tour because when I saw them in Cuyahoga the piano part felt a bit flat. But that was the only bad part of the night. It was a mind-blowing show.

  • Fricking awesome.

  • number 1 band in the WORLD

infact, in my eyes number 1 band EVER

  • haunting

  • great bass here... really the drive of the song

  • i think that's the backbone of this song

  • one of the finest songs of all time

  • yea i like both but the guitar does sound really good on the build up...but if radiohead picked the other version to go on the album then it must have fit better

  • I like the camerawork for concert; very simple and intimate

  • Anybody have the chords played by Thom at the end?

I love this version because I hate the way Thom changed the vocal melody on the album. "Ly-in in the re-eeds" just sounds so bad.

  • I like both.

  • seeing them in montreal as well

  • I was at Montreal :D IT WAS AWSOME

  • this has become one of my favourite songs ever, probably my favourite 'slow' song at least

  • Incredible song.

  • i loved this song!!!!

    peace all!!

  • im seeing them in montreal in august i am soo excited

  • best live version of the song...thom´s guitar sounds great when he sings "it´s all right..."...hope the next versions would have guitar on that part!

  • 5 stars + 1 star

  • I do fuckin' love this song....

  • As do I. It's the track that really stuck out on In Rainbows, and it's become one of my favourite Radiohead tunes.

  • oh no piano ending =(

  • it's true but it's my favorite version still

  • i dont think ill ever get sick of this song.

  • i dont have a favourite song on in rainbows, but this comes close i just think its absolutely breathtaking and isnt really talked about as one of the outstanding songs on the album, but i think it deserves to be.

  • The appreciation of many things is subjective, especially art. If the subject can be measured against established criteria, then it becomes ability, but art-....

So many very creative people have offered their work only to be met with unappreciative audiences. Though some may not "get it", others may feel Radiohead are unique & reveal a certain ingenuity & outstanding originality, they will probably not die as paupers.

Radiohead, along with other underappreciated artists, intrigues me.

  • i applaud thee

  • *Applause* for you.

  • Geilo THOM !

  • Radiohead's music is a portal that allows the soul of my heart to burst free

  • T H O M M O T H

  • Well Radiohead are easily the most groundbreaking band of 2000's. They should be three times as popular as they are and you know a good band when 2 of their albums are already considered in the top 500 of all time(rolling Stone mag). Bands asked if they can open for Radiohead turn it down and no wonder. Awesome songs, Radiohead will be remembered by future generations.

  • This stripped live version sounds even better than it's counterpart.

  • why you all people just dont close your mouth and appreciate music...

  • i love this noise don't get me wrong!

  • do you know similar noise things like this? because I really like it... also, please would you reply this msg with any of your 10x better bands than radiohead?.. give me one nameat least, please!!. thanks!

  • People like me look to the future, while i see the worshipping morons(here)

And i can say there is 10x radioheads sitting in there heads

  • they aren't though, so what you just said is stupid.

  • Can you see how unique they are? can you see the way they write their music is unique beyond an average song writer? as a musician and a thirsty average person seeking good music with experience of song writing for 4 years, I believe they are marked the best for their genuine talent and their excellent talent to compose such beautiful noise that is called music.

Every song they make, expresses how they feel no one will ever describe in words. Even i cant describe this beautiful band!

  • settle down i can see your woody from here

  • if you dont get wood from this then fuck off

  • to friedskillet btw

  • i always have wood ;)

  • this is shit what you say! sure it's subjective which music-style you prefer, but there are not many bands out there which are better than radiohead. that's fact!!!

  • In some ways, you can say that. Some bands might be better than Radiohead in certain extend.

BUT, on the whole, music includes many things: CREATIVITY, skills , style of playing, the mood it delivered, the deeper meaning of it, the INSIGHTS it brings to people, the influences of it, and many more.

When we added up all these, Radiohead is still among the best bands.

  • Best band alive today hands down, most talented and original. Bands dream of being half of what Radiohead is and unfortunately in a world dominated by watered down pop it will never happen. Radiohead is all we have.

  • @stevenblades Radiohead is all I need. ... Get it?

  • @stevenblades hey i couldnt have said it better myself.

  • @stevenblades hey i couldnt have said it better myself.

  • this song made me cry

  • Stellar. Does anyone know where I can get an MP3 or any kind of DL for this gig?

    (See you in Dublin thom!!!)

  • (L)

  • allucinazioni

  • COME TO MEXICO GUYSSSS

  • i first heard this in Edinburgh 2006, but this new live translation is absoutely amazing!!

  • What does everyone think of the B-Sides off this record? Flowers...some of their best stuff.

  • Actualy Flowers was recorded just by Thom on the Eraser sessions. Great song anyway!

  • I love the B-sides of In Rainbows!!! It blew me away how good they all were. My favorites are "Down is the new up" and "Last Flowers"

  • Did anybody else think the first time they heard this song, that the out-tro, was Thom saying...

    "the sunn....the sunnnn...the sunnn....the sunnnnnnnnnnnn!!!"

with the night-imagery, and the "in rainbows" title, it seemed oddly to fit...especially how it sounds hopeful, after a long darkness...like the sun breaking through after the rain....in rainbows ;)

    ...just a thought.

  • i didn't really think all of that as I have h eintelligence of a gnat, but YES. The Suuunnn, yeh :P, he says it's all right, it's all wrong apparently. I still sing The Sunnnn though :L

  • you mis-informed fool.colonists children?

  • Lacks without the piano still good but hope they return to the piano for the live shows in the summer

  • well i imagine it was supposed to be such a small place they couldnt really take a piano with them.

  • Thom Yorke is one of the best vocalist to step on stage. His voice sends electrifying shocks straight to the soul. I wish I was the pen to his paper!!!

  • oh cmon.. i love radiohead as much as the next person, but he's not the greatest live vocalist.

i know its just a matter of opinion, but cmon.. stop with the hyperbole.

  • OK HES NOT THE BEST

    HES THE BESTEST!!

  • radiohead go beyond just liking a song - whole albums are like one giant awesome song...in rainbows is the same

  • See you in Berlin !!

  • the best song no doubt in rainbow.

  • This album is so great that could have several best songs.

  • Where is 93 Feet East and why wasn't I there?

  • London. And it was announced ON THE DAY of the event. No-one was exactly prepared for it.

  • Haha Radiohead seem to like surprises, huh? First they announced out of the blue In Rainbows 10 days before it was released, now this.

  • yeah come to mexico

  • Hey, here there's people who like this band enough to deserve it.

  • come to peru

  • come to mexico first haha... bueno cuando sea pero q vengan, no?

  • Powerful

  • thank you for your music

  • Wow, I like this version much better.

  • this is one of my in rainbows-favourites

  • its hard to say witch one is none a in rainbows-favourites

  • it is hard to say...they are all good.. its to early to say i think

  • hey, eeiciap, i love ya! thanks for posting this vids..amazing! i'm dreamin'...

  • "It's all wrong

    It's all right

    It's all wrong"

Just like in the real life!

Please share your magic with us, come to Mexico, Radiohead boys.

  • i'm agree with you!

    PLEASE, COOOME TO MEXICO

and this version is totally great everytime i hear it i'm about to cry

  • Yea, I have a tough time deciding which song is better: this or Nude... They're both awesome. Wait, maybe 3:22 just decided for me.

  • by far best song on album and great fun to play on my synth as well

  • Live version of the song is usually with a Piano since it first debuted in 2006. No room on that stage for a baby grand.

  • it changed after the webcasts.this is how they play it now....and its fucking great.

    cheers.

  • nononono why do hey do thatttt :( :( with piano sounds more powerfulll

  • je prefere largement le final a la gratte ici.

parceque la fin de celle-ci sur le cd me file des boutons...

  • Best song ever.

  • Yep.

  • is dat really from the 90s?

he does look like him now

thought he would look clean and younger at dat time.

    doesn't matter anyway...great song!

  • no, it was performed yesterday, 16 jan 2008 :D

the place is called 93 feet east

  • Thanks a lot man!

    I was kind of puzzled...93?

    hehehe

  • sick

  • awesoem

  • Best version !

    they save the song :)

  • Thom should totally play a piano in that heavy bit at the end instead of his guitar, it would sound so much better.

  • They only brought one keyboard and Jonny's playing it... Thom plays piano in the Scotch Mist Version.

I think it's cool to hear it played this way.

  • they must've sold their souls to the devil to play that good- like Tommy in "Oh Brother..."

  • Sigur Rös!!

    oh, waith...

  • Haha yeah, that keyboard at the beginning sounds like the second untitled track on Sigur Ros' ( ) album doesn't it

  • hahahaha I noticed it too!!!! the very beginning, just like that Sigur Rós song!

  • thank u thank u thank u.. my fav song

  • yes, the little part is so so so ...undescribeable?

it reminds me really much of This Will Destroy You's Quit, the live performance that comes up here on youtube..

how i'd fawking whish radiohead'd do something instrumental!!!!

  • the little part at the start of the live version(and scotch mist one) is AMAZING

  • Best performance yet.... ;)

  • I love the organplaying in this one... and the cylophone (or what you call it) at the same time... very impressive still :)Wonderman!

  • glockenspiel in this case, you were thinking of a xylophone

    glockenspiel is metal

    xylophone is wood

    :)

  • ahhh... of course :) I know... just forgot what it was called :) thanks :) glocken glocken ;)

  • Beautiful. Amazing. love it.
