  • i want to also know .....is the route relay interlocking system introduce on that track(NJP TO GUAHATI IN NFR) or it still run on old dated "TOKEN SYSTEM" technology..........

  • is total NFR is single line.....???..........i mean from new NEW JALPAIGURI to GUAHATI is it single line....?????? oooo... god....all total mail/exp train from GUAHATI run on single line upto NJP.........hats-off that single line which take that massive load......

    if any body know .....is there any plan to doubling it.......or what status.........plz inform it.... this section must be doubled......

    So, according to you a Rajdhani MUST do 130kmph irrespective of tracks.....

    Please, drop this thinking, Rajdhani's are not immune to track condition.

    NFR is single track section with a mind boggling amount of caution orders as minor derailments are frequent in NFR.

    There's also a charm that comes with NFR.

  • @harshu6991 @harshu6991 no i never meant that Rajdhani's r immune to track condition. But train slows down nt coz of track condition but coz of single track, if u noticed the railways removed the parallel MG track but didn't replace it with BG. This region has been neglected for a long long time, nw its time 4 all to wake up, but kudos to people like u who captures the beauty of the North East, well done mate!!!!!!!!!!

    Single track has got nothing to do with this. The driver just looks out for the aspect of the signal and caution orders. Theres a pilot loco up ahead of the Raj which does the dirty work of track vigilance.

  • @harshu6991 @harshu6991 u r right the entire stretch from NJP to GHY is awesome, esp u can see the himalayas, trains crisscrossing tea garden, u can even view the hills of Bhutan in the Nalbari-Barpeta stretch on the New Bongaigaon-Guwahati section, provided the train is running on time, nice to see double track work completed up to New Bongaigaon.close to 500 bridges (small and big) in NF railway stretch

  • Hey nice video. It seems that there is a gr8 emphasis on providing LHB rakes for Rajdhanis and Shatabdis. Some of them already having them that I know are...Mumbai (Raj and Ak Raj), Kolkatta (Howrah and Sealdah), Patna Raj and ofourse DBRT Raj. Others like Chennai, B'lore, Hyd, Ranchi, TVC have normal old rakes and others I dunt know. Does anyone know other LHB Raj in addition to these?

  • I think that mismatch generator van is a mandatory feature for the Rajdhani and Shatabdis no matter wheter the coaches are LHB or ICF.

  • Sir, NR loves doing so, and it's most common to see DBRT Rajdhani with an LHB Shatabdi EOG!

  • superb video of both the DBRT Rajdhanis !! first time I am seeing mismatched LHB generator cars (in Shatabdi livery ) !! loved the smoke of WDP-4 of the first Rajdhani . and does the one via MB-LJN get WDP-4 all the way from NDLS ( as it is diesel hauled all the way) ?

  • @avinashi07 it get WDM 3A from New Delhi to Barauni, from Barauni to Guwahati WDP 4d, finally from Guwahati to Dibrugarh WDM3A. Previously it used to run with the same engine from NDLS to Guwahati, there were instances when engine broke down. It happened to me once sometime back along with two of my friends in different occasion..........
