  • <3 my future husband!!!

  • you're so lucky, i wish i could see his live someday. this vid is just awesome, i would have cried if i was here! love this song, love Music For Tourist, love this artist. i wish i could meet him, too. thanks for posting this ! :)

  • Anyone know the name of that instrument? It's not an accordion, not a melodica, not a concertina... but it's awesome. It would work just like a melodica or accordion, but it's made to be played like a piano horizontally. Anyone know the name of this?!?! I'd love to get one.

  • @Mindwanderingguitar It's a harmonium... made by the bharat music house! :)

  • I wanna stick him in mah pocket!

  • that's an amazing instrument, and portable too! wow. i think it's nice what he's doing I'm not untouched.

  • OMFG I love him

  • I have been listening to many versions of this over the past years....This is still the best one I have EVER found....I know it was a super special moment.

  • i really love his song, ive not heard of him before i like his style.

  • We love you Chris!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • IT is great that independent videos are available. These types of videos are available because greedy labels dont have the copyrights....we should keep it so artists like this get great exposure.

  • what is that kind of instrument he is playing?

    please reply ;D

  • It's called Harmonium or something like that

  • awesome, thanks. :D

  • Ah yes. We have one of them at my school.

  • what a great video. so simple and intimate

  • he's a god!

  • Chris is an angel!!!

  • Why do most of his songs make me cry? He is such a beautiful person! Its like you can almost feel him through the comp when he sings

  • yea, you shuld listen to sujan stevens, i love chris but sufjan is the worlds most emotional songwriter. check out "John Wayne Gacy Jr." im sure youll love it.

  • not as deep though

  • @jwmtnbiker This is a little random, but do you think they look a little alike sometimes...?

  • @Prelature totally man, i've always thought that, and i was sooo convinced they were both gay too, but only chris is haha. and to kowtpr, i think sufjan is much deeper in a different way, chris is very deep and passionate towards his personal triumphs and problems but sufjan is extremely emotional with more broad things, he definatly writes about personal things but much less than chris, they are so very similar but at the same time completely different.

  • The harmonium adds a great touch.

  • my fave song by chris.

    <3

  • I'm in love with his art. He's such a beautiful person.

  • thanks for this.

    He's just so...awesome.

  • Hope to see him live someday, maybe this summer or fall when he gets home from the tour. He's the real deal. Thanks for posting this. He's in regular rotation on my iPod. Music For Tourists really needs to listened to in its entirety to get the full picture. Fascinating when you get it full on. The EP is also great.

  • He reminds me alot of sufjan stevens, not just the looks but the music.

  • you're not nice, i rather leave you alone. aww.

  • he's such a cute boy..

  • I watch this once a day....you really were lucky..hes amazing

  • Chris has got to be one of the most humble artists to have arranged this. Coupled with an amazing performance makes for some goooooooood karma!!!

  • oh my word. chris garneau is seriously the single most glorious human being on the face of this planet. i could almost cry that he performed this just for you.

  • he's amazing. thanks for sharing.

  • thank you for this beautiful song

  • OMG, this is just beautiful.

Where were you when he did this?

  • it was in a parisian hotel room.

  • Awesome!

  • thank you sir,

    for sharing this

    thank you very much

  • Merci beaucoup pour cette video, c'est magnifique <3

Et la chance que tu as eu d'avoir ce concert privé!

  • what the hell, just for you?

    why??

  • Musicians are surprisingly normal people, too. If you ask someone to do something and it's not outrageous, they might do it.
