It was explained in the book but I don' tget it. I mean, it said that he was tethered to life because he and Voldemort shared blood, but then wouldn't harry tether Voldemort to life also? Even if the Horcrux inside Harry was destroyed, wouldn't Voldemort still have his mother's protection? So, that's my question, please help out.

@siweiwang12 Thanks! Since Harry did the same thing his mom did,Voldemort's spells wouldn't hold. If you remember the Elder wand,that's the key role. Harry became the master of the wand when he Disarmed Draco at Malfoy Manor. Voldy thought Snape killed Dumbledore,but Draco Disarmed him first making him the master although he didn't know it. Harry didn't "die" b/c the Elder wand wouldn't kill him.The curse rebounded on Voldy at the end and that's why he died. I hope that helped clarify things.

I mean, he was given a choice whether he lived or not and dumbledore said something like he was tethered to life and he had a choice of whether to live or die. @siweiwang12 The Forbidden forest scene was important because that's when Harry had to sacrifice himself and "kill" the part of Voldemort's soul that was inside him. King's Cross was the part of whether or not he could go back to the real world or chose to "live beyond death" in the afterlife.That's why Dumbledore said that train would take Harry "on".

@siweiwang12 To be honest,I don't know why Dumbledore was at King's Cross.I think maybe since he was someone Harry could go to, I think he showed up to explain things.The weird body thing was the part of Voldemort's soul that got killed when Harry took the Killing curse.

Oh God, I just got home from watching DH part 2 for the second time, and if it's possible, I cried even more than the first time I saw it. :(( Especially the scene where Harry uses the Resurrection stone made me cry my eyes out :'( It's so touching when Sirius points to Harry's heart, almost like he did in the Prisoner of Azkaban... :C Harry Potter will live in our hearts forever.
