My god, I hate gravity jumping in SOTN, it is FAR easier in this game and the games with just pushing one button instead of a button combo.

You missed a mind high that one of the marionettes used, and you are getting hit ALLOT, you shouldn't have used the poison barrier during the boss fights as it would have helped you get your timing down pat.

My first play through I made it through the game without using any potion, glitches or the DSS healing.

Try doing the Shooter mode without using a subweapon, though DSS glitching the no sub weapon crush is allowed as it costs you 100 hearts and I think 100 mp.
