. what im getting at is that if every ameture surfer with a ski try s to take over any wave over 6 feet what will surfing equate to in the next decade, a lineup of ski s out of pipe? you can say its almost direspectfull to the people that walked down those cunt clifs, made a heavy paddle and sit in the zone and give it a solid nudge. if you ve ever been towed in you ll know that a wakeboarder could do it

j3thro100 i fully appreciate that its not easy to paddle in, but isnt that the point? you work your way up. in my opinion using a ski needs alot more justification that 10ft barreling waves. if you look at the wave itself, most of the time there s a fat section, almost like a wedge you can take off on and ride into the pit to avoid a beating on takeoff. ist not exactly the most narly takeoff and definately could be done without a ski
