  • @Colho5 You mix up a bot of those 2 into a routine.. for example... what i did was to replace the p90x cardio for the insanity, and keep the resistance and ab work outs of p90x!

  • @Colho5 If you mean doing both at the same time it's bad, you will be overtraining and that is really bad. But if you do a hybrid then ye it's more then ok =)

  • Can some one tell me if I do insanity first then if I do p90x will I still get goo results? Or do I have to do p90x before insanity?

  • @eyesthathypnotise I was pretty much in bad shape, i did like 6 or 7 push ups with my knees on the floor, so i was at 0 aswell

Seeing as how people already looked fit when they started the program kind of discouraged me, but after seeing your before and after pics, I'm pumped!   • i shud be starting INSANITY next monday... I practice martial arts and i find it embarassing for me to have a flabby belly... I hope to get the same results as you... to be totally honest... I look just like u in ur before pics and its that wat is motivating me right now!

  • @khmer4life That's the kind of attitude that will take you far! But honestly I wasn't checking the face, I gave more attention on belly, arms and legs :P. And btw I'm far better now, a a 4pack is coming along with toned arms and back, and my chest is bigger ( muscle wise ) :DDD

  • Wow! That is awesome man, good on ya! I started Insanity 4 days ago and it's the most intense thing I've ever done. I just finished Cardio Recovery and I've never sweat so much in my entire life. It was like someone sprayed me with a hose haha. I can't wait to see what my results will be. I'm pumped! lol

  • @greenneverfails Nice man!! keep it....When you start phase 2 you'll see pretty much the same difference as from lazy to phase 1. Phase 2 is a killer :D

  • i just started insanity about same size as you I hope to get the same results! how many days was that at the end? Also what was your diet?

  • @1MilliSubscriptions I cheated on the diet once a week, the rest was clean and a lot of water. I also intake creatine (5g/day but i'm going to quit it), fish oil, multi-vitamins and whey protein.

  • @websta7512 for your arms can be 2 much... idk man I don't want to give you bad advice... but from my knowledge stick with insanity

  • @websta7512 Ahoy, well I've heard that Weight-lifting can be bad if you'r body ain't enough developed so based on that information ( but the world is full of bad info these days ) I recommend you to go for Insanity since it's cardio based with your own body weight

  • now im back up to 190. im now starting to do more than just insanity. ive been doing more push ups, tricep workouts, and ab workouts. im going to try starting to jog more too.

  • @xXBOOSTINXx I don't advice you doing it... Overtraining can fuck you up real badly.... You can be some months just to recover from a muscle injurys.

    Like I said, It's all about how you look in the mirror and how you fit in clothes, weight doesn't mean nothing trust me

  • im on week 4 and i still have trouble with the warm up and ive only lost 5 pounds(i started at 190)

  • @xXBOOSTINXx Don't get it wrong man....... Weight mean nothing!!! It's all about appearance and how you fit in clothes, trust me! Try to not loose more then that next month as well.... You know people who loose weight too fast ( like me ) can gain it back really quick as well and to add I've got extra skin that takes off definition :(

  • @bridgest99 Well this is more fat loss the muscle gain, even though i did get some more muscle, Im doing a 2nd round of this but adds wieght lifting at a gym... try it out :), but don't forget they way you eat alright?

  • Hey I just want to know if you drank any protein shakes or used a supplement, and what did you eat like did you diet. I'm looking to start insanity I weigh 189, but it's kinda hard to change my life style cause I live that white widow

  • @PsYcHoGaMeR09 Yup I take vitamines pills, omega 3, whey and creatine... as for the diet I eat alot, but what i eat is healthy like clean meats, salmon, caned tuna, salads, boiled eggs, beans fruits.. etc

But im almost finishing phase 1 of insanity/p90x hybrid and I din't got that different :( I think I'm going to add some more chest training.. prob p90x+ upper body workout .... Guess my genetics aren't good for muscle gain.. but fuck it, ain't going to stop because of that stupid reason.

I'm doing P90X/Insanity hybrid now and to build some muscle :)

  • @SquishyCandyftw Ye water is one of the best steps to loose weight. Ye i still do drop dead, not so often as the first round. I've started a P90X and insanity this week but i can't handle it everyday with my job ( re-stocker which I'm always moving around ), so I'm going to try to keep the insanity fully and adding p90x wight-lifting. something like this:

    Mond: insanity cardio power + P90X chest&back

    Tues:Insanity Pure Cardio

    Wed:Insanity cardio circuit + P90X shoulder&arms

    and so on..
