Each floor has a weight load limit (1000 tons). Floors don't hold vertical loads. The columns do. The columns bowed inward until they snapped. 1/3 of 500,000 tons is now falling (top 30 stories). Floor below is held by a bracket and a 3/4 inch bolt and now we have some 180,000 tons landing on it.

Office fires do not reach high enough temperatures to melt steel or to weaken it enough to break. Thermite cutting was seen & the particles found in the debris at ground zero. C4 in the lower floors down to the basement would not have exploded due to heat a few floors above. Building 7 was not struck by a plane, yet fell at near free-fall speed. Watch those columns buckling and finally snapping all at once across the entire length of the building. Know what holds the floor directly below that failure point? A bracket and a 3/4 inch bolt. Every floor has a weight rating. With a 1/4 of the building landing on it guess what happens to that rating

The floors only strengthen the columns, they don't hold vertical loads. Once the exterior columns begin to go out of plum the forces acting on them increase EXPONENTIALLY!! What gets worse gets worse FAST!! There is no floor system in the world able to hold 1/4 of the building ON THE MOVE.

B7 had a 15 story gash taken out of it by falling debris which severed major load bearing columns. The sprinklers were severed and it was burning on multiple floors. Extensively. WTC 1 collapsed at 10:30 (or so) B7 came down at 5pm. Having been massively damaged from WTC collapse and burning all day with no water to attack it. Fires across multiple floors (re FDNY!!) NO ONE was in it after WTC hit it.

Aluminum melts at a VERY low temp. Where is this molten stuff dripping from?.. The NE corner. Geee!! where did 155 feet of jet aluminum just come to rest??..... THE NE CORNER!!! and it drips LONG before collapse. Aluminum oxide and barium nitrate need to be present for thermite and they weren't.

(look it up) Fires were no where NEAR hot enough for molten STEEL!! But they were WELL within range to melt aluminum. With EASE. And again.. your logic tells you that the 155 feet of aluminum..(the jet) now shattered and piled in to the NE corner WHERE WE SEE THIS MATERIAL!

@mooners40 LOL. All the gravity forces go straight down. It doesn't topple off like tinker toy brick. Jet A1 fuel burns incredibly hot!!! (look it up!!) Each floor has a weight load limit (1000 tons). Floors don't hold vertical loads. The columns do. The columns bowed inward until they snapped. 1/3 of 500,000 tons is now falling (top 30 stories). Floor below is held by a bracket and a 3/4 inch bolt and now we have some 180,000 tons landing on it.
1000 ton load limit? +180,000 tons. losing.

And i could talk to you!! The floors are HUNG off of the columns which were moved to the OUTSIDE of the building. They transmit the vertical loads but they don't HOLD the loads. Once the exterior columns go out of plum the forces acting on them increase EXPONENTIALLY (S Engineer explained this to me).

But that was precipitated by 7 hour fire cooked floor connections failing. Main columns going.. remove one major feature of support and the entire building is at risk.. Which it was!!...(yawn!!) TEAMS of FDNY inspectors were on this. The building was bulging and creaking and MOVING. That is WHY it was evacuated.
