Long ago, when the game was first made, a Cubone was meant to evolve into a Khangastan. Nintendo decided against this at the last moment, however, so the evolution code was placed into a last-second created Pokemon(explaining it's stats), and placed in a very glitchy location in the game. Speaking to the old man who tells you how to catch pokemon and then flying to Cinnabar Island, then using surf near the edge of the island will break the glitched lock on Missingno's code and allow a fight.
missingNo. is apparently a baby kangaskhan. They decided to get rid of the idea that baby kangaskhan would be kangaskhan's pre-evolution so they scraped the idea but the incomplete file remained. This is what i heard.
I remember catching (: I remember seeing the fcked up Hall of Fame from the Elite 4 having a lot of pokemon which werent mine; even it said I beat the elita 4 with mew :P

The way how I did this glitch is that I went into the Safari Zone and then I flied out of it to Cinnabar Island and surf the east coast and found it. I just set Rare Candy to the seventh slot so I can have infinite Rare Candies.
i used to always catch mewtwos till my boxes were full and then trade them to my friends for money:D
