@okieroadhunter You do realize that at least 2 of those are wrong? Ill give you a hint, it's not 1 or 4. Here we go! Ok, in regards to 2, that may be so in your area, but state, county, and city regulations may be different for other people. In MY area, for instance, it is perfectly legal, depending on the bird in question. As to number 3, there is an entire season dedicated to hunting doves, and therefore it is legal in said season. As to shooting them with an air gun, within season is fine.

The only legal means of taking dove during dove season anywhere in the USA is with a shotgun that holds no more than 3 shells. BB guns and pellet guns are both rifles, and it is illegal in all 50 states to EVER shoot a dove with one, regardless of the season.

Kindly post a link to the regulations showing it's legal in your area to shoot birds on power lines, and I'll apologize to you publicly.

However, when the authorities were approached by my neighbor last year during dove season over a bird shot with my .177 air rifle, the officer stated that it was legal, seeing as here doves are actually considered pests. I apologize for the less than friendly tone, I was having a rather bad day at the time.

Now first of all i wraped it with a wrap tape which i bought from cabelas!(American store if you know it)Then i wraped it with a type of fibre(it's a thick fibre in the center and many fibres around the thick one!
