OOooooh, another idea. In the petals falling, towards the end you could use Chroma Keyer on black with a bit of blur, and Sora could fade in from black underneath it, to continue it smoothly.
yeah i like that idea i didnt think about that i was just going to add anohter clip but if i make the background like change with all sorta of different stuff of sora or whatever that might look pretty cool :)

I agree with starkissed9shadow, I think following the lyrics as you carry on would be really good, and make sure that the timing is spot on with Sora's masking, because at some points {I know I'm being way OTT} but he overlaps the clip change, ever so slightly.

In the audio track, at the start, where all the levels, etc, are, there's a little green shape thing, you know, the one you get in each individual clip. Click on that and it should give you different effects that you can use on your audio. Reverb is an echoey effect, to make it sound more distant.
When I say overlaps the clip change, I mean that sometimes, the clip which he is masked over changes, or disappears before he does.

To feather, you click on the masking bit, as you would in order to draw it, and on the left are various statistics and stuff. In that, there should be a selection saying feather, or something like that. Click "In" when the arrow expands to different selections. Under the feather box thing, in the left hand side, there should be a percentage thing. Just scroll it across as far as you want it, in order to change the distance of the feathering effect.
I'd either take out the clapping or extend it and make it quieter :)
Because the video is so full of emotion I wouldn't worry about a story. This is the kind of video that means something different to everybody. As for carrying it on, why not follow the lyrics? I do this when I'm stuck on where to go next :)

Clapping should fade in and out more gradually, maybe be quieter, and you could add some reverb or something to soften it.
Add more feathering to Soras masking, to soften it.

Wht i did was cut up the audio with the clapping and make each one get lower and lower...which i need to fix since it still too loud :|
