I disagree. I do think Tennant's underrated, though. I've yet to watch him in anything other than Doctor Who (because I'm still watching Doctor Who; one obsession at a time), so I can't speak for his other roles, but he was great as The Doctor. But I live in America, British actors don't get the same attention here.

He was born David John McDonald in West Lothian, Scotland. I was born in Canada (Nova Scotia... New Scotland) but my family only couple generations back came from there with the last name McDonald, which I also share.
