It's amazing how well it worked for a movie that it wasn't composed for. Also that it blends in so well with Koroku's score. I also suspect that Def-Con 4 was heavily influenced by Jerry Goldsmith's Outland score.
@ironhandz1 I agree. I would go as far as to say that the music works better in GODZILLA 1985 than in does in DEF-CON 4. The onscreen drama/action doesn't meld as well with that film, and everything just fits so much more snugly in GODZILLA 1985. I don't know, maybe I'm just biased because G '85 was my fist G film.
@TransatlanticFoe84 my first movie with G was from showa.i think that was godzilla vs mechagodzilla.but when i saw that movie i was scared.i don't knew godzilla when he was bad.it was in 1995 when i saw G'85.i have this same tape.i love this movie so i buy it .i'm the only who have G'85 in my town and i'm proud of this.greetings from poland ;)
@jauerbaton89 Thank you! I hope you enjoyed it. I’m a huge Godzilla fan so I thought I would let other Godzilla fans know about this music’s existence.
@Vinv1989 i knew about this music, beucase i have american version of this movie and i love to watch ending credits and hear this music.when i saw japaneese version about two years ago i was in shock, beucase there's a strange japaneese song at the end credits...i don't like it. i preffer american version, beucase there's music from def-con 4,but as we all know the japaneese version of movie is longer about 12 minutes.but americans does a good fusion beetwen this movie and music from def-con4
@TransatlanticFoe84 I got to agree with you there. The Return of Godzilla was a dark film and the moody dark tone of DEF-CON 4's soundtrack blended so well with this movies overall tone.

What part of the movie was this used at?

@KidzWrestling13 It was during the part where Godzilla attacks the Soviet submarine, in the US version it happens at about the 15 minute mark.
