for me its more important to know how i get the money for buying such car than "know what kick down..." *lol

The LEDs would cause too much power/heat loss on DC. There is a switching power supply to moderate the power for the LEDs by turning the voltage on and off very fast. the human eye is too slow to detect the areas where the current is around zero and thus no light. But cameras/screens have a way faster sampling rate when they record the light. and when a sampling point matches a "zero current" point, it can be seen. Couple of times a second, and you'll get blinking ;)

This is not a kickdown.

This is just a full acceleration.

Kickdown is when you're driving , FOR EXAMPLE, 80km/h in 5th gear... then you press the throttle all the way and it goes down to 2nd or 3rd gear.

kickdown ist es nur wenn du in bewegung bist und nicht ausm stand, dann würde das vollgas heißen, auch wenn es nicht so schön klingt wie kickdown

have you ever recorded something with your videocam on a CRT screen (TV)?

the frequent which there is used is to fast for the human eye... but if you record it you can see it.

the same system is used by the LEDs in the lights.
