I prefere Orion to fl studio for creating music with vst, really easy to use and powerful

orion is the best if you are using ONLY virtual instruments. cubase/logic/sonar are useful if you have expensive external gear.

orion actually supports vst so it integrates well with vegas pro for post audio production.

I've just got a demo of Orion. I've yet to find what the fuzz is about it, as I'm used to Reason's intuitive HW-like flow, so all the windows in Orion really turn me off :/

This is very good. Impressive work. I also use orion platinum for industrial and hip-hop style beats, though I'm very amateur at it. It's good to see some people making good music with this program, since it's very intuititive. Check out my tracks if you get a chance. Mine are lower quality, but it's a start.

I like the industrial sound, a lot of good elements. I agree with the break idea though, unless you prefer it this way. Make music you like first, other people second :)
