  • Here something interesting about today’s date 11th November 2011 which is 11/11/11. Not only are all three dates 11 but all 6 numbers are all ones. This makes it standout from the other 11 dates were only the three dates are the same.

  • Thanks for the video, but please learn how to pronounce the Latin words properly.

  • OMFG!!! You Pagan women are the most beautiful in the Whole damn universe....

  • I should have known. Everything in this country is based on some sort of pagan origin

  • Waste of time,

Playboy costs more than the books her research is based on.

  • put out your bra....

  • Need a women here you go ** rockmycity.info **

  • Pull up ur undershirts pls

  • cute lady and nice video.

  • Thursday=thors day .Viking god.

  • nice tits lindsey

  • I hate it when pretty women say something smart. It's like "oh, she's saying something interesting......wow, she looks nice.....fuck, i totally spaced out. Dammit.......wow, she's pretty"

  • Oh come on! can you please dress better.

  • A small correction... January wasn't the first month of the year in pagan times. The Romans considered March to be the first month of the year, because it was the beginning of spring and thus the beginning of a new year. We can still find this back in the zodiac, which begins with Aries (20 march - 20 april).

Indeed the first roman calander had only 10 months. July and August were both added by the roman emporers, who all saw themselves as sons of Julius Augustus (= the revered one).

  • She should present these videos topless.

    Just saying.

  • I AM MAN IN JORDAN I AM LOOKING FOR SEX PARTNER YOU VERY PRETTY I PAY YOU MANY

    + 962-6-5668048

  • @bendsucks -----> there you have it, "College Girl Model"! This guy is "LOOKING FOR SEX", and you gave him the message that you are selling exactly that, by showing cleavage --->(Cleavage is the cleft between a woman's breasts lying over the sternum revealed by a garment with a low neckline.)

Your info is interesting enough. You don't have to humiliate yourself by dressing in an inmodest way. Hope you wised-up!

  • @bendsucks FIVE DOLLAH!

  • thanks

  • thanks

  • can u please make a video about baltic words ? :)

  • also otto is 8 in italian

  • I have seen this shameless whore pop up in other videos. If she was even 10 % as smart as she claimed to be, then she would use her brain, more than her publically displayed prostituted body cracks, that she is using to get views in these videos. What an immature sack of female shit proving why her whole gender still fights for equality. The day she is wanted as a person, the same way perverts want this whores ass and boobie crack, then she might be half the woman she thinks herself to be !

  • Nie rozumiem co mówi, ale ładnie opowiada ;D

  • Whats the point of ''by a college girl model''? That a new way of marketing to male audiences :P ?

  • more crazy girls online on: onlinecrazygirls . com

  • you're cool. If my history teachers were as pretty as you, I might've actually paid attention

  • The part about february is only one reason for the name, the other (that I know of) is from the Etruscan god Februus, which some romans recognized as the god of the dead, asigning February as the month of the dead.

  • Comment removed

  • vert well done

  • thanx for all these interesting informations and how you present them! best wishes from berlin, germany...

  • I also notice that the holidays are associated with the zodiac sign which they are founded in our year. For example: Halloween is in Scorpio, Thanksgivin is in Sagittarius, and Christmass (a.k.a. Saturnus) is in Capricorn.

  • @vrghiks "So many are decieved by worshiping man made gods(spelled in lower case)in stead of the one true living God.Thus breaking the very first commandment of the true God. "

i agree, the only man-made god people should worship is the one that's spelled with an upper-case letter like the one you like.

  • Very informative video....and the music is beautiful.

  • Thank you. Very informative.

  • good stuff! carry on.

  • So the days of the week are based on Norse mythology and the months of the year are roman?

  • your video was very well done

ok I want to know about powerful female secret societies

I want to know what is up with the watch flop necklace chain

the answer is always the same

THeir grandmother gave it to them. That is ofrn an older women's answer

a younger girl may look to her mother and say it was once part of a pocket watch that men wore in the olden days.

Now there is nothing attactive about a watch flop so I believe it is a secret symbol or metaphor

  • lindsey is fiiiiiit!!!!

  • Nah. Can't see it, but that Aphrodite is SMOKIN'

  • if course... The usual cover up... September was named after "Septimus Severus, African Ruler of Rome"

  • boom goes the dynamite.

  • hey the only thing i got right was your nice face

    keeeppp da work mam

  • This pretty girls teaching stuff is cool. Women dont always have to be all slutty to be attractive and smart. You goooo girls!!!!

  • i dont know where to begin to start correcting your statement..

  • Your a pretty little thing

  • Very good.

  • College girl has nice cleavage!!!!!!!!

    Shallow I know, but Damn!!!!!!!!!

  • Yes. Very distracting.

  • wow

  • Ähm...ok, yes...oder so.

  • That was nice college girl. I know that July was named after Julius Ceaser and Augustus named the month August after himself. There were months that it was extremely warm so the Romans added an extra month to fit the cycle of the moon and seasons.

  • She mispronounces the Latin words completely.

    E.g., "Novem" is pronounced "NO-wem," not "No-VEM"

  • Aphrodity is hot XD

  • Don't be freaky!

  • Me? I am not freaky...why?

  • Great decoding of the names of the months. However,if the number of months in a year is 12, why is the last month named after "10", and why are they all different lengths? All cycles of the earth used to be even- i.e 360 degrees in a circle came from 12x30=360 days in a year. Why is this relationship no longer the case? Becasue withn the span of human history, the "clocks" that measured these cycles changed- i.e. the earth moved further from the sun- more hours/days to complete the same cycle.

  • The Romans only had 10 months until Julius Caesar inserted July (< Julius) and Augustus named August for himself.

  • Hi Linsday, I am astounded with your knowledge, and elated by your beauty, and completely overwhelmed with your personality. You got it going on baby, keep it up!

  • great cleavage....

  • she's really pretty!

  • huhuhuhuh youre hot. If those are real, HEEEEEEEEYY!!!!

  • 12 is also symbolic in nature, as it follows egyptian/roman calendar, 12 apostles 12 brothers of joseph 12 higher beings in heaven, etc

  • All represent 12 signs of the zodiac.

  • i love random trivia like this.

  • words "JESUS" and "LORD & GOD"

    ;)

  • wait, does the "pagan naturalism" shown in the corner mean you are without implants?

  • What is the music at the end of this video?

  • Cool video!!!

  • I thought octo is Greek for eight.

  • Latin

  • In Greek the word for octopus is octopus. Greek is a much older language.

  • well maybe, Im not sure. Romans would always steal others ways too...

  • Very informative however i don't understand the relevance of using a 'model' to narrate the video.

    Sex sells?

  • Yep.

  • Thanks for this video. It is very informative and interesting. Noel

  • wow she's hot

  • Great video Lindsay, very interesting material. I was waiting for this one after I watched the days of the week video. Thank you for sharing. I can see why your a model. Your a very beautiful lady. Good luck in the future. :=)

  • Can you make a vid on the etymology of the weekdays?

  • Already did. Search for "Pagan origin of days"

  • @psychetruth hey great job can you do a video about why the scientist consider that 99.9% of all the species that have ever existed on earth have been extinct?

  • @mexicanrocker3 what? never heard that....so everything not yet extinct on earth as of right now accounts for only .1% of what was once in existence?

  • That's really well done. I made similar videos and posted them as responses. September-December are still in the making. Keep up the good work and Keep Learning!

  • This is a great video. Whenever a Jehovah witness or any christian cult says that the cross of christ is pagan you can just remind them that the calander that THEY use is ALSO pagan. ;)

  • Whaaaaaaaa???????????

  • neat. Thanks.

  • And the days of the week are from the Norse gods. Thanks for sharing what you know.

  • Test

  • I've heard that during Roman times, the year began when the sun is in Aries (Mar.-Apr.), which is why it is the first zodiacal sign. If this is so, was January originally in springtime? This would seem to make sense for planting etc. Anyway, interesting video. Also, you are a goddess & I would gladly name a month for you, were it in my power.

  • You are so crazy!!!

The twelve gods were greek and lived in the mountain Olympus.

Okto is no roman word. Its grrek for 8.

Please do some serious stydies before putting this on the net.

  • Did you ever think that maybe many Roman words came from Greek words?

The Roman's were the ones that named the months as they are used in English today.

P.S. - Learn to spell before you criticize other people's research.

  • Wanna know more about greek?

If you count the unique nymber that comes out from the words of the planets, you will find that it states their position from the sun.

    This. only in greek ofcourse.

  • Thanks for posting this informative and well done vid!

  • Great video, very interesting material. Thank you for sharing.

  • July and August were added by Julius Cesar and Cesar Augustus in order to make themselves immortal. They wee placed at the middle of the calendar, rendering the numeral names of September through December off by two months.

Also, July and August have both 31 days -- the two men didn't want to have "little" months after their names. February, a month of bad luck in their superstition, was shortened to 28 days.

  • Very informative and professional. Thank you

  • cool video. on a side note, the zodiac types correspond to the month that begins halfway through the sign, example march = mars= aries

  • why in our current calendar sept, oct nov and dec are in 9th,10th, 11th, and 12th place as you have said its 7, 8, 9, 10 (in roman time)

  • Because the romans only had 10 months. For some reason they didn't count the winter time as being months. It's strange but they didn't.

  • The months of July & August should have been noted at the end as they were insertions into the existing 10. Perhaps even noting the year in which the insertion occurred.

  • far out, i never really ever stopped to think about all that before.

    thanks for the information.

  • There's something wrong here there are 12 not 10 months in a year

  • You didn't pay attention to the video. The Romans only had 10 months and since the names of the months are Roman, they named many of them according to the number of the month.

  • ahaha your latin prenunciation is terrible but your video was pretty historically accurate.

But you know how you said it was disputed about April? Well, both of the opinions you said actually mean the same thing. Aphrodite was the goddess of love and fertility. Fertility represents new life and new beginnings. The opening of the flowers is the same concept.

  • why non of these videos are available???

  • i love when you do videos... please do more .i look forward to watching you again.....

  • Great video! I wish my evolutionary heritage would let me concentrate on it rather than drooling over your cleavage. I simply can't stand it! I want to squeeze them very badly haha! This is a serious comment, I would honestly enjoy that. Yet, you've helped me learn so I appreciate that too.. Knowledge will help me impress females, which will give me more access to boobs haha... Aah! I did it again!! HELP SOMEBODY AAH!! I can't stop! Stop it, evolution!! Well, I can't evolve without sex!

  • hey that other "origin" lady was also Lindsay.

  • hotty....smart or wikipedia?

  • Learn something everyday! Thanks

  • is it just me, or do all the psych truth female commentators have"prominent" boobs..?

  • I guess this is usefull for those who slept in school when this was thaught...lol

  • i"m totally amazed,I'm a martian hahahahaha

  • I am curious about many things and this is one of the reasons I subscribe to this channel. I found it interesting to learn about the origins of the names of the month.

I hadn't really thought too much about it before and was surprised to see how "Roman" are these names.

    Good video.

  • I like the other one.

  • interesting title..

  • you missed smarch! x)

  • Lousy Smarch weather!

  • when are they going to fix those damn misprinted calanders?!

  • Natalie is totally hotter and not a model, it just comes naturally to her I think.

  • I disagree. I liked the other one a lot more. She seemed way more natural and comfortable to watch. Watching this I sense 'college girl egomania'

  • Nice cleavage!

  • I like to know things, I liked what you brought me today, thx !

  • ...and gorgeous College Girl Model could cause a need for a new 13th month to be named: Aproditie...wow

  • Fucking smokin'. Psychetruth keeps delivering.

  • In the James Bond film, what does "Octopussy" mean?

  • 8 vaginas.

  • I thought the word Februum comes from the corresponding Greek word for purification, hence the Greek name Fevronia, somewhat frequent in today's Greece.

  • which porn site r u girls from

  • true

  • So would an octopus amputee be a septepuss?

  • Yes. And plural for apple-pie would be apple-pussy!

  • they totally ran out of ideas when they hit september didnt they? lol.

  • Where is the other Lindsey? The Blonde one?!

  • Knowledge, history and beautiful women, what more could be wanted or need to be said.

  • You sure know some really lovely women Mike you Dawg! Nice vid Lindsey. I had always thought that lunar cycles were made by Honda!

  • COOL!

  • Nice explanation Lindsey.

  • Yes & the Sun has a mass of 2 octillion tons...

  • But in reality in modern times we have no use for a week. In fact I believe it makes everything so much more repetitive for no reason. We ought to do away with the week altogether. But that's just me.

  • Great idea! Do away with the work week would be alright by me.

  • Since 28 goes into 365 approximately 12 times, it was rounded off and remains like this to this day. The week, however is a completely useless idea which is not based on any recurring cycles like the earth going around sun (year) moon phases (month, or "moonth") or earth rotating on full rotation (day). Rather the week is based on the 7 major planetary bodies in the sky which stood out from other distant stars: mercury, venus, mars, jupiter, saturn, the moon, and the sun.

  • great video,

Perhaps we can also discuss next what the significance of the days in the month, year and week mean.

For instance 365 days in a year, 5 of which are during the "solstice" days where the sun "stands still" so 360 days of actual movement by the sun on the horizon = 360 Degrees in a circle (they could have used 100 degrees, nice round number, but chose astronomical basis instead). Months are actually supposed to be, and were only 28 days long as that reflects one lunar cycle...

  • but lunar cycles would get the seasons and months off of each other so we go by the solar cycles which are the seasons and try and cram the lunar system into it as neatly as we could. and you get the mess that our calendar is in now. Oh how I love the madness that is a perfectly imperfect reality.

  • yes i agree. I like the solar cycle, especially because it also goes hand in hand with the seasons etc which repeat as a direct result of sun exposure.

I do not advocate lunar calendars, I simply think weekly calendars are useless and should be done away with. I think we both are saying the same thing, and yes it is absolutely a beautiful thing that this is a perfectly imperfect world!

    Cheers

  • first!!
