I so agree with you. I'm really missing this partnership. You hear all the time about how Ricardo (Yulia's new partner) is better technically than Max. That may be so, but as partners, Max+Yulia just had something that was really special. They were so unique and creative. They never had a single showdance that wasn't simply awesome and engaging, but they never got the placements they deserved. Here's hoping Yulia+Ricardo can achieve some of that magic someday - they are not there yet.

Max and Yulia are still engaged, but for her to get better, she needed a better partner. Max is still involved in the process and helps them a lot with choreo.

When she and max were together.. I think they were at 6th or 7th in the world rankings? Now that she's with Riccardo, only after a few years, they're at #2. All in all, I think it was a good business move. Everyone's still dancing and in love.. for now, at least.
