Thanks for the reference books. What I find difficult is I want to write a YA story. I have six characters now. I struggle with books that all the dialogue from the characters sound the same. I have grandsons who are seven to almost 13 and daughters from 24 to 30. I'm 48. Slang, I believe, is sometimes a fad and sometimes sticks around. I need that recorder to write the meaning and nuances of the words! Thanks great video.

Files 1 and 2? Sure they're not 0 and 1? ;) I like the idea of recording ideas as well when no writing implement is available; iphone now has a voice recorder that goes directly into iTunes, which I find pretty useful. Thanks again for posting!
