  • upright row

  • This is an upright row

  • This video is so wrong. So so so so so so so wrong. You should probably quit life.

  • you might as well call this a bench press. its not a high pull, FYI. go back to your job at geeksquad

  • yoor doing upright rows --dumb fuck.... fail

  • fuck! such a narrow grip will fuck up your wrists and your shoulders, due to the socket rotation.

  • YEAH! because we like to damage our sholders!

  • those are not high pulls who makes up this trash?

  • Rofl, high pull is NOT an upright row

Upright row there is no jerking.

  • to the "instructor", you're an idiot

  • This video is going to cause someone an accident. Do not follow this man advice

  • Lifter is a geek. This is not a high pull. You should be instructing exercises for senior citizens.

  • great upright row instruction; terrible high pull.

  • A high pull is also known as the upright row? this is garbage. Delete this...

  • High pulls n upright rows may look the same to amateurs but they r not even close. High pulls r a power/explosive movement. Upright rows r for defining your delts. Please don't try to 'teach' others f u need to b taught yourself. Who the hell high pulls with their hands at that position? Get rid of this video. It's misleading

  • @PakhtunSupremacist can u give me a link to a video that is actually correct its so hard to find out which people are right or wrong and especially considering squats deadlifts and highpulls are dangerous if done wrong but very beneficial if done right.

  • Use the E-Z bar... out side grip for this one, less stress on the wrist.

  • High pulls you do more weight and you use your legs to throw it up. Its not a arm exercise. Its exploding with the legs.

  • This is a good vid explaining an upright row, not a high pull lol, just change the name and it will be perfect :)

  • An Upright Row is NOT a quick lift. An Upright Row is a bodybuilding exercise for the traps and delts. Form is always debatable just as it is with curls. Some people get better results from a reasonable amount of cheating while some people get better results with strict, slow form.

The Upright Row and High Pull are a world apart. A very strong man may use 405 on a high pull and only 185 or 135 on an Upright Row.

  • A High Pull is NOT an upright row. A High Pull is the pull portion of a clean or snatch where the barbell is pulled high on the body. It doesn't matter where. To the neck, to the sternum, to the nipple. As long as you pull to the same place so your PRs have meaning. They can be done from the floor, from a hang, or from blocks. A High Pull is meant to develop the Glutes, Hamstrings, and Every Muscle in the Entire Back.

  • Your tips are very cool and helpful

    Thanks bro!
