Great mod! Btw, on super narrow windy roads, the regular gasoline Smart is actually a lot of fun to drive once you learn to anticipate the crazy slow manumatic transmission. Do not confuse it for a real car though. Light weight + tight turning radius + rear wheel drive + heat and noise of the engine two inches behind your rear + relatively tight suspension make it feel more like a very upright go-kart - from Toys R Us. Forget the freeway though...

That's a lie, the smart ED IS SLOW but it's not 22 sec. Slow believe me, they did not know there is a kickdown function on the accelerator pedal and most people don't know about it, and like I said it's still slow, my reading was about 15 0-60

Right now, we have 2 fords in the family with over 300,000 miles on it, including a 1978 F150 with a 351 Cleveland and has 621,000 miles. Farm truck at that.
