How funny about your mom sleeping with her eyes open. I do that! Sure can't practice not doing it, if you then have to close them, you have to concentrate... Sleeping masks are a blessing, can't sleep on an airplane without one, it creeps people out!

Ok, it finally hit me - someone mentioned you in a show - I see a cross between the film "Woman on Top" (Penelope Cruz) and the PBS tv painter Bob Ross...It took me forever to find his name...but you kick his butt anyway for a 2007 female version of him.
