What made you think that my views are ridiculous? I don't malign the achievements of Rizal. I just think that his stand before against the Spaniards was feeble. Rizal was calling for Filipino independence but never did he go against with the word "Filipinization" (derived from King Philip II of Spain) which was used to encompass the Philippine territory and he even relegated himself to Spanish education. Furthermore, he accepted the religion forcefully implemented by the wicked Spaniards.

..I would agree that our goverment could be blamed for what is happening to the Philippines, part the goverment's role in build a nation is only partial. We all should join together to bring about changes in our country, starting from the highest part of the society to the lowest of all people. Have we accomplished this, only then we could start a change!
