I am a train buff/railfan who lives in Longmont, and I have to say that it was interesting to hear the train dispatcher come on the radio and tell the train to stop and that he had just received a call from the police department. The crew on the train had no idea since their locomotives were already up Atwood Street and around the curve. Maybe this is a sign that we need passenger trains along the Denver-Boulder-Fort Collins corridor.
