His kids weren't in the pick up truck. they were in the white 4x4 you can see in the distance which was driven by his bodyguard. I don't think anyone would drive like that with kids in the back. I think its good he was trying to protect them from the paps, they were on their way back from the hospital after all. those kids are so over-exposed.
