I have APD to (AVP in Dutch). But they discovered it when I was 12 years old, they couldn't do anything to help me anymore.. I allways have to look in the notebooks of my friend because I can't follow what the teacher says. It's so hard that I allmost cry at once every week because I can't follow it anymore.. :/ It's very hard....
I have APD, and I am wondering how hard these tasks were for me at this age. He is trying so hard, and I love his determination! My heart goes out to you and your son... I know what this is like, and you are SO patient with your son. I admire that! He's going to be very successful guy! My blog: apdwarrior17.blogspot.com
I agree with below. Plus, he's getting them when he isn't getting them right which is even more confusing. I really hope that it's not a sugar reward because that's not helping either. I do agree that your patience and way with him is amazing!!
Don't get me wrong I really admire what's being done to help this child but it bugs me a little that rewards are given to him if he gets something right even though auditory processing disorders can't be fixed. It's kind of giving him the wrong idea...

@imafntn3 rewards are given because the child is TRYING. No point making a child with a disablity feel bad every time they get the answer wrong.
